The Mavs ran ANT to death, specifically Kyrie. ANT should have never said he was going to lock up Kyrie. Even the commentary team by the end was saying ANT looked exhausted in the 4th Qtr.

For the first time so far, Minnesota saw what a real team defense is and that's why they lost.

Eye test shows - Mavs look like they're just getting any look they want. OKC defense gave them more trouble and this Wolves team, whether they're tired or what - cannot guard Luka and Kyrie the way OKC did all series. Mavs are giving them the 3 ball on purpose. The focus was to win the paint and they did that by a +24. Mavs did the same thing vs the Thunder and it worked. And OKC was the best 3 ball shooting team in the league. If the Tpups adjust by pulling Rudy out away from the bucket, then they've fallen right into Kidd's trap. That's how Rudy got embarrassed by the Mavs last time in the playoffs. Minnesota is being outcoached.

The wolves are rank 28th in the NBA when it comes to points in the paint. They never were an inside team, they needed Edwards to spread the floor but teams sending double teams on him and Kyrie constantly attacking prove to be too much. Despite all that ANT has to stay aggressive offensively

The drop coverage was not that bad of an idea and it worked relatively well. When Rudy was on the court, the Wolves are +10. But they were just too bad defensively when he was on the bench. KAT was not able to provide a defensive contribution as he did against the Nuggets and Ant was just not playing at all.

What’s the point in calling out Kyrie? I mean if you can stop him, then stop him…. You can’t, but that’s okay, no one can… you don’t have to talk smack about Kyrie Irving before a game, it’s just not smart. I guess when everybody is telling you you’re the 2nd coming of number 23, you might forget you’re only 22 and Kyrie has been here before. I don’t think it’s over either, I think Kyrie will be fired up every time he sets foot on the court with Ant for the rest of his career. It’s just what the great players do. That’s why you don’t do it.

I used to like watching this guy until he started to analyze the game more negatively. Like the guy who picks on defenses, he's starting to express much more frustration with the defense and less appreciation for the offense. I speak for the OG's here- I preferred when the content was more positive. These are the best defensive players on the planet with the best schemes they can have against the level of offense that's in the NBA currently. Good offense beats good defense and that's that... it's not easy to make the best decision imaginable every time and that's why I don't get the hate towards the players when they make mistakes.
