I’ve been loving the Book support by the community recently. I’ve been a Suns fan my whole life and I’m happy I’ve gotten to witness Bookers whole career so far. Book really deserves all the recognition and respect he’s been getting lately. 🔥

Booker is easily top 3 pg’s in the league. Super fun to watch and root for. Suns are gunna be dangerous next season

So nice to see Book get the respect he deserves! Kinda sad tho that it took the Olympics to give him the respect when he has finished top 4 in MVP race once, went to the finals and played unbelievably, and then put up Jordan numbers in the playoffs two years ago on insane efficiency

Yes edwards is still a raw talent so people gravitate towards him but . book is way more refined and efficient from mid range and 3.

It is not an issue. Book is ironically the best name for his play style. What chapter you need? Dude has brought the heart back to the Valley. He helped make an entire nation proud by doing what was asked of him. No one will ever say they aren’t proud of him as a person or hooper

I have been a booker fan ever since I started watching basketball, I have to defend him every time as people in general just don’t like book, I’m so glad he’s finally getting the recognition now and thanks for being a real one to react to recognition vids like these, appreciate it!

I’m stunned that people aren’t talking about Booker anymore, it’s all Ant, and yes ant is a good player, but I don’t think he passed booker yet

I don’t either. Ant is more athletic and flashier but not the shooter booker is, or passer or IQ of Booker. Also I feel Ant is immature where Booker has always been mature since being drafted

It’s the raw talent and athleticism of ant getting the attention. Booker is better shooting guard more refined a better shooter and passer and this Olympics proved he could be a better defender

Book been getting overly disrespected after a few bad moments in his career, the way people talk about him you'd think he was a playoff dropper when he's 8th all time in playoff pgg on 49 39 90 splits. The narrative he doesn't play defense is just lazy as well, he did have a step back defensively last year with a bigger offensive load at point guard but he'd been progressively getting better and was great in the 2023 playoffs and I expect him to get right back to it with tyus.

DBook is a sharp shooter but defense is focused on him so most shots are contested. He's unstoppable in fast break and great on defense. I'd pick him over Ant or JB any time.

While I do agree the 3 point shot is the weakest part of Booker's offensive game, he is still a better 3 point shooter than Kobe ever was. For their careers: Booker - 5.8 3PA on 35.7% & Kobe - 4.1 3PA on 32.9%. Then if you look at best season volume/3 % Kobe had 6.5 3PA on 34.7 % and Booker had 7.1 3PA on 38.3%.

Not to mention Book has won a 3 pt content by making 82.4% of his shots (2nd best in contest history) and has nailed plenty of game winners from beyond the arc. He loves the right wing where he's 41% and also 43% from the left corner. Oh, also when he averaged 51% thru 11 playoff games lol. He definitely has to be respected from long range.

As a huge Devin Booker and Phoenix Suns fan, Booker's biggest (only?) weakness is the weakness of every star under 6' 9", he can't see over double teams. The guys who get away with it like Steph have a short roll playmaker like Draymond and the spacing around them for the short roll playmaker to kick out to the weak side. That's why they went and got Nurkic, but his finishing was so bad last year that the weak side defender could be late to rotate and it wouldn't matter, Nurkic would still struggle to finish.
