Very good transport, I rode one in my childhood in the USSR. In the 80s, hydrofoils were the main passenger transport in the Soviet Union. They were made at a factory on the Caspian Sea.

That was some excellent, shake-free drone footage.
Nice drone work. I know how hard it is to track ships.

30 years ago, in USSR, such kind of vessels used like buses on the rivers and nearby seashore cities. Cheap enough, with many "flights" every day. We still have some of these vessels, they called "Raketa" (Rocket), "Voskhod" (Sunrise), "Meteor", "Kometa" (Comet) and had some other names. That was not the personal names of the vessels, that was name for the each series of that vessels. On the early 90's, after fall of USSR, such river and seashore miracle was ended, everything was on decline. Only in last years, Russia managed to produce few vessels in "Kometa 2" series.

@Igor Gavrilenko Tell me more, because I ex-USSR citisen, who very often was passenger on these ships. TL/DR: Your statement is a lie, they not banned. Fall of USSR and many problems caused by this, killed such kind of passenger vessels in 90's. They are not cheap.

@Igor Gavrilenko I live near Don River, my father was seaman that was decided to work on river at the end of his life. I'm had plenty of time around his job, and had access to many vessels, this type included, and had talk with their crews and captains. These vessels killed some of the fish and washed away some banks, but big cargo ship make way more damage to both things even today. I know this better than you - from the first hands. I was on these ships, I have seen them passing by, I was on Don river.

Absolute superb filming. Well done to the cameraman/men. Terrific video.
What kind of fuel consumption does this have, once on foil I presume less resistance so more distance/less consumption. But is it really worth the cost of jet fuel?
