This video shows a sea-flying jet plane sailing at super high speed!! This is a video of the jet foil "Tsubasa" of Sado Kisen [Mifune Seal Daiichi Gobansha] entering and leaving Sado/Ryotsu Port, and a report of the boarding record from Niigata Port to Sado/Ryotsu Port. The jetfoil ``Tsubasa'' of Sado Kisen that we boarded this time was the ``first domestically produced boat'' manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Kobe City), and a commemorative plaque was posted on board. In addition, Sado Kisen's jetfoil was the first in Japan to operate in 1977, when it purchased the Boeing 929 Jetfoil (Hydrofoil) from the Boeing Company in the United States. Additionally, there is a dock for Sado Kisen's jetfoils.
The seats on Sado Kisen's jetfoil "Tsubasa" have been changed from the original seats when the ship entered service to seats made of soft material with yellow-green cushioning. The boarding and disembarkation entrances for each port are located on the front left side of the first floor. Therefore, the height of the quay side can be changed, which is different from other ports where jetfoil ships are in service. The video of the entry scene at Sado/Ryotsu Port is quite impressive, from the wing running to the landing scene, which is difficult to see at other ports, but this time I was able to see it.
This time, it was sailing on its wings with almost no waves, and although you may not be able to tell much from the video, it was sailing at a considerable speed.
