@ 01:22: From Haneda to Itami, the most direct flight path possible(I.e. even if there's no airspace restriction over Yokota AFBase) is indeed turn right immediately along the coast of Kawasaki city after a south-bound takeoff from Haneda....nothing "unnatural" at all unlike what Kevin claimed. I think Kevin needs to research more carefully to ensure correct facts whenever touching on the subject of ATC(Air traffic control) rules in Japan....
Military Airport is controlled by military authority. That''s normal practice.

@ 0:20 I don't understand why this is surprising or even "shocking" as Kevin implied. Strict airspace restriction around airbases/military facilities are extremely common in any nation around the world. e.g. u.s. air bases in Germany/U.K. have similar airspace restrictions - tourists don't really notice them only because these bases are located far from urban centers unlike Yokota AFB(AirForceBase) near Tokyo center. I bet you are unaware that aside from the narrow air ways/routes between cities controlled by CAAC(China Civil Aviation Authority), the ENTIRE airspace in P.R.China is controlled by the PLAAirForce and technically restricted ALL civil air traffic from using except in emergency or poor weather conditions. If u have flown on any airlines to/from/within China often, you would be familiar with the fact that your frequent flight delays/diversions are often caused by PLAAF using their full authority to even shut down civil air routes anytime for military exercises WITHOUT prior notice to airlines nor passengers. In comparison, airspace restriction over Yokota AFB is tiny when comparing with the total size of restricted airspace over almost all of P.R.China including its largest cities.
