2 - 3 tablespoons of flaxseed
140 g whole grain spelled flour (1 cup + 2 tbsp)

This recipe looked delicious and I bought the ingredients and made it, but I regret doing it for when I plugged the ingredients into my Macro App for nutritional information it was clear that they are high in fat and in carbohydrates, but the protein is almost negligible (6gm). I would suggest adding protein in some form or do not consider it a main dish.

I plan to try this soon. Question though... Where can I find "Date Syrup"? I've never heard of this and can't find any at my local grocer... 1. Where can I find it, and if I can't, then 2. What would be the best substitute? (I was thinking Black Bean Garlic Sauce, Oyster Sauce or Chile Sauce...or what about the obvious.... Maple Syrup?)
