Thank you for not playing music over your talking, I appreciate that So much. I like to listen as I go to sleep and when they have annoying music, it is difficult. There is one channel that, while I like her coloring, her intro music is so loud it makes me jump, even when I'm awake. I had to block her and I didn't like doing it. BTW, also, you are one of my Very favorite colorists.

Kalour pencils and love them. They have such a huge variety. I have reached for these instead of my favorite Prismacolor. I will have to try this video. Looks gun and Karen did an excellent job, as usual.

Hi Karen! Do you think Distress Paint would cover unwanted line art when using coloured pencils? I don't like the texture of acrylic paint, for example, on a face, it looks lumpy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, Ps how is your cat?
@ZucchiniKitty2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Kitty is doing fine he just gets annoyed when he wants attention and I am busy... usually when I am filming...lol I do not have any distress paints, so I can not answer that question sorry
@jessbrown8682 жыл бұрын
Distress paint is pretty sheer in colour. I wouldn't think that they would cover up dark lines. You might be better off using something like posca paint pens.
@cindyshirreffs20992 жыл бұрын
@@jessbrown868 Thank you Jess, this is great feedback. I watched Tim Holtz re the paint and he said it was the most opaque out of the Distress Ink, D. Oxide & D. Paint, which is why I thought I might try it. I do have a Posca pen but it hates me and behaves very badly! When I do get it on the paper, I find it chips off when I try to colour over it. I must have a reject!

@@ZucchiniKittyClarence Oliver, our cat, doesn't like me to talk on the phone to my Mum, he grabs the phone, sits on me, purrs loudly, meows loudly... His sister is way more polite and so is our dog.
@jessbrown8682 жыл бұрын
@@cindyshirreffs2099 I have a fair collection of distress products (I scrapbook) and I would honestly say that the oxide inks are the most opaque out of the line up. I find the paint to be really thin and liquid. As for poscas, they aren't my favourite but it's all I have right now for a paint pen. I think there are better out there, like Karin. I haven't tried those but I have heard good things about them.
