Good to hear you liked the Impossible Burgers. Many people in my immediate and extended family eat plant based diets and 'Impossible' is the burger we use when we really want a 'hamburger' instead of an (also delicious) black bean burger or something. We have a variety of vegan restaurants where I live and the carnivores sometimes crowd us out, lining up for the faux Big Mac's. (And ~ you've inspired me to order some Tombows which I can use, once I get unpacked from a recent move. Thanks!)

Hi there thank u so much for your video colouring this page in the fairies and fantasy book. I bought the book so I could colour along with u. I manage for the first time to colour the whole picture perfectly. Never could colour skin always looked so terrible but thanks to you for showing your amazing colouring skills I manage to finally get it right. Don't have all the colouring pencils and markers you have but used my nyoni pencil crayons and I am so impressed with the picture i coloured with you . Just want to ask u if u would colour more of the pics in that book. I don't have the grey scale one but I managed to put the shading in the right areas. I am new at colouring but it has helped me with my anxiety and just want to say thank you so much. I have purchased a set of Lyra pencil crayoñs now as the nyoni dont have names on and difficult to match the colours. At least the Lyra pencil crayoñs have names on. I cant get prisma colour pencils in South Africa. Hard to get art supplies here. Have a blessed and wonderful evening.

Good evening, Karen, This is a question about you use of various ink pads in coloring. I have been watching and admiring your use of art mediums for a few years now, and I see you often use Distress Inks. Is there a particular "starter" set you recommend? I love the way you approach each new "page", you are so relaxed. I have been very obsessed with staying in the lines.... watching you has helped me to let go and play again. Thank you!

When you are applying the distress inks it looks like you’re (in some areas) putting it right over your colored areas…doesn’t it cover up or distort the colors of those areas?? Just curious because it’s the number one reason I rarely use my inks for backgrounds is because of all the small intricate areas like around hair etc that km afraid the ink would alter if I went over it Thanks 😊

Distress ink is a waterbased ink, if it is going over a wax it will resist. If you have not completely covered the area it will ink the areas were there is no pencil...

I only have the portrait set of alcohol markers and I don't use them often, I have come to enjoy the Tombow's that are water based markers and see myself using them more...
