No problem at all :) I am happy to help. Make sure there isn’t much snow anymore before reaching the top, otherwise the viaferrata fixed ropes are under snow and could be dangerous. Or maybe carry some extra rope with you. If any question let me know :)

Beautiful video best so far what I found on KZbin , amazing drone shots, I walked this route last week, nice sweet spot with the sleep over in the tent. I did it all in a day started from Garmisch and I ended up little exhausted. But it was one of the most beautiful hikes/climbs I experienced.

Hello! I really enjoyed watching your video from this hike! I see several answers where you say you did climb Zugspitze on 14th May and end of april. Would you mind telling me which date is accurate? I am planning to climb Zugspitze at the end of April or beggining of May and I would like to ask you for any tips and what you think about climbing around this date. Thank you so much. Hey, I did climb it both times :) 14 April we actually failed due to enormous amount of snow and since we didn’t have the proper winter equipment. April and May still considered very snowy months above 2500 meters. I did not film the last part of the climb but it was very tricky since the via ferrata was deep under snow and you will have to travers some steep slopes. So if you have no experience in that I would not recommend these months. Also it is a long route, we stayed in a tent before the glacier to break up the route to two days. Of course if you plan to go only one day then you are lighter can move faster. I would recommend to check the snow level and webcams to see if there is any snow left. If you decide to go when there is still snow on the last via ferrata then make sure you have crampons, ice axe, 20-30 meter rope with you. Don’t go alone please when it is such conditions. Hello do you know if it is legal to camp on the Zugspitze region? I wanted to do a similar route to you with an overnight stay in a tent, but I am confused if I won't get in any problems. Thanks!

Hi, we camped around 2400 meters just at foot of the glacier, actually quite far from the actual path. I am sure you will have no issues as long as you stay away from the path, put up the tent late and clean it up early. I would not camp in tent near busy places. High up in the mountains should not be any issue. If you consider doing the same route then I can also recommend staying in the Hollentallangerhutte. I hope I answered your questions.

No it is not legal to camp outside campsites or privat properties in Germany... you could do an "emergency bivak" without a tent.... Or just order a bed at the Höllentalanger Hütte , right after the canyon...
