In a way, him being awkward makes a lot of sense. While it is adorable, yes. It also humanizes him and shows that deep down he’s still a teenager who had just wanted love from his abusive father. It makes sense why he would be awkward outside of looking for his honor. Poor guy’s been chasing after honor for years when deep down all he wanted was love. Him being awkward isn’t just there for the sake of being quirky. It not only humanizes him, but considering he had been derived of love from his dad it makes sense that he’d struggle with people due to his abuse.
