This is a great video. You showcase things that no one really casually notices. Zuko uses the lessons of all four elements, which he learned from Iroh. We know he learned these from Iroh, but at first glance, we don't really know how he uses them. Zuko knows how to generate lightning, although we have never seen him do it. However this skill is unlikely to be very useful unless it's a decisive move at the start, before Bolin can lavabend. The fight would likely end up being Zuko flying around, and Bolin failing to attack him with earthbending.

Zuko🔥⚡️vs Bolin🌋🪨 Both have complicated moments in their childhood who marked them for life. Zuko at the age of 13 he was banished from his home, humiliated and scarred on his face by his own father where Bolin's parents got killed by a Firebender and forced to live on streets with his brother. Learnig alternative Bending tehniques who seams almost impossible. Instead of Lightning Generation he learned Lightning Redirection who can be deadly if he makes one single mistakes. Bolin before lava bending loses to Zuko ten times out of ten Bolin with lava bending...well, I'd still give it to Zuko but it's very close now. Could go either way

Your first point is reasonable but lava completely changes everything, Zuko can't counter it, in the possibility that Zuko gets close, bolin is one of if not the only earth bender that could handle himself in that situation, he's extremely agile and acrobatic for an Earth bender, meaning he could evade zuko even without bending, then there's he's physical strength and durability which surpasses zuko, but zuko takes the obvious edge in skill, so even with the possibility zuko closes the distance he still loses The only way zuko wins is by keeping he's distance and removing lava bending, then zuko wins 10/10.

@SmilingArcticBirds-vi6fd bolin is also incredibly agile, if bolin was like every other earth bender your point would be valid, but he's not, to counter lava bending you have to close the distance, bolin is one of the most physically impressive combatant we've seen from both shows, don't get me wrong zuko is still faster and more skilled, but all bolin needs to do is grab zuko once and it's over, he's too strong ,quite fast and incredibly acrobatic, for someone of he's stature, so Zuko isn't getting the upper hand that way, take away bolins strength and cut he's speed by just 10% then Zuko stomps, bolin is being carried specifically by that 10% speed, characters in LOk take acrobatics and agility too seriously, to the point where earth benders can keep up with fire benders, Take gazan for example there's no acrobatic or agile move zuko can make that gazan wouldn't be able to replicate, and bolin is just gazan with more impressive physically strength.

I think Zuko would have a way to counteract the lava, if he can learn the technique of heat redirection, the one that Sozin used to cool the lava from the volcano on Roku Island and I think he could know it, because when did it happen? of the Red Lotus wanting to kidnap Korra, Zuko, Sokka, Tenzin and Tonraq were the ones who stopped them, Tonraq said that he was the one who imprisoned Zaheer non bender, From what we know that fact from there, from what P'Li, Ming Hua and Ghazan remain, I dare say that Zuko faced Ming Hua or Ghazan, but the option would be Ghazan who would be the lava bender and could defeat him using that technique, so if Bolin attacked him with lava Zuko could take out the heat and harden the rock making it normal rock.

Take the heat out of a ball of lava, and you still have a huge pile of rock flying your way, heat redirect is not applicable in combat, it's too time consuming and requires specific posture, it's not a realistic approach, atleast not in combat.

@LoneWolf-el5oy To be honest, I don't feel like that ever matters, staying in one place to redirect heat, for example, take the lightning bolt as an example, when Iroh explained it he implied that it was complicated to perform the technique but by the time of Korra we are told that this subcontrol became public use and is something common, something that many did not like, but what am I getting at with this, the reason this happened is because the method to generate lightning became easier to perform, allowing very experienced masters to achieve it, if a master of his element could find a way to have this subcontrol accessible, do you seriously think he won't find a way to do the same with the heat redirection technique?

actually zuko can neutralize bolin's lavabending because his great grandfather could do it when he calmed the volcano and its just a skill to learn which zuko excels at. bolin could not metal bend but he can lavabend and zuko cannot lightening bend but he can learn to neautralize lava. Zuko will win this fight.
