On behalf of most girls, the basic uniqlo style is generally fine. And I think usually most people have an issue with the appropriateness of the outfit vs the occasion 😆

I think it's the chosen attire with boat shoes (like what Mandon described) which is often associated with like fake/douche boys, and can be a turn off for some. I think if the shoes are paired with other appropriate attire, then I think it'll look good.

@@fireboykhai I get what he means, it's the context/the clothes that came with it. But focusing on the boat shoes feels like it got all the hate when the problem was the outfit. That's why I didn't get the hate on boat shoes. At the end of the day, any apparel/outfit is a bad outfit when it is not worn/matched properly. One would seem like they have no sense of style or just plain douche.

@@ariel3725 its the typical rich boy prep look atleast it is in america but i do own a few sperry boat shoes but i also have a 19 foot aluminum bass boat also! sometimes if i do a quick errand i might wear a blue a&f polo with shorter american eagle shorts with it to make others cringe 🤣🤣🤣

As a guy I 100% agree on the too tight button up and trouser combo. I cringe when I see it and i've been lifting for 13 years. Also agree on the boat shoes and loafers. They're actually fine on certain occasions but the vast majority of guys have no clue how to dress it and throw on jeans and a balmain paris or whatever designer black tee. Essentially the majority of dudes who frequent clubs.

Why boat shoes? Owned a pair of sperry, goes well with most outfits, from denim to chinos. Bought a new one from timberland and it works. But I do agree that most Local guys style is pretty basic. It’s not our fault, it’s the weather and for comfort wise, we tend to go for something more cooling and comfortable such as “Army singlet”. For guys, we tend to look good/stylish in leather, denim jackets, coat and paired it with a nice boots. All of which I do own but can’t really wear it often unless I’m going to stay inside the mall most of the time. For girls, things are much simpler, the lesser they wear = sexier/chio/hot/gorgeous. And wearing less = cooling for our SG weather.
