I remember this concert! The crowd knocked the barriers down in front of the stage and they had to stop. I was in the pit and some girl got fucked up and had to get taken out in an ambulance! She was out cold the entire time!

Jeroen Veenstra he's playing the song exactly as he recorded it. nick overplayed everything, he was technically better, but static x lost a big part of their sound when they booted ken out.

He definitely had a different sound and style. Only thing bothering me as a drummer are those cymbals not moving when he hits them, really hurts my eyes :)

It is weird. Raymond Herrera had a similar thing going with his cymbals back around this time too. I never understood why...

I think they tighten the cymbals so they would make less noise. More tight, less movement so less noise. Probably because of the backing tracks wich they use a lot. That's the only explanation I could think of.
