i think you have the greatest longevity of any youtuber. 17 years later you are still making videos, and also corrected mistakes you made then. i have spent a while trying to think of what to play for lines of the rio album, i was glad to know by looking at your video that i had successfully transcribed my first song by ear (new religion)

Hi, a difficult week for you. How have you been? I'm glad our msgs provided some comfort for you. Smart move with the performance/lesson format. Great to look back at that young punk 😂 and see how you thought something was played, to find out it was close but not right. Shows you can always learn and improve.

Those old adages really ring true, especially as we get older. Nobody's perfect! Yes, it's been a crazy time. It feels like I've started another chapter in my life. It also feels like I'm dreaming, very difficult to put into words. I got her ashes back on Thursday. It's good to have her home again. ♥🐶 That young punk wouldn't know Pepper for another two years!

@@zumazmusic happy to hear she's back at home with you. That young punk and Pepper didn't know the beautiful relationship ahead, cherish those memories. In time and it's too early at the moment, you might be ready to make another friend.

This is a really great video. A lot of great insights on how KZbin works as well. I really like how you break this song down. This one like Rio is too fast for me to play but I love John Taylor’s baselines and it’s great to see exactly how he does it. I’m very sorry to hear about Pepper.

Hey Zuma great idea to have separate lesson videos, helps me a lot when you vocalise the actual note names you are playing. Keep up the great work, you will make your goal for the channel. I have an idea for a video, do a bass lesson of Seven and the Ragged Tiger the unreleased song. The demos on KZbin. I would send you a link but I don’t know how 😂. Only issue is the quality poor. But it would be original and interesting should get loads of views from the DD fans.

I did hear JT say in an interview that he and Roger Taylor give each other a look just before some songs bcos they are so hard to play at this age like Rio or Girls on Film I. E. young person bass line lol (so agree with you simplifying to lighten his load)
