Andrade and Charlo been calling out Canelo for the last three years or so. The fans wanted to see those fights. Bivol was a nobody and didn't even have a championship belt like Andrade and Charlo. The only other welterweight to even become champ at 175 is 6'1 Hearns. So yeah, it was a huge leap especially for a shorter fighter like Canelo who looked sluggish carrying extra weight. If the situation were reversed with Bivol being 5 inches shorter and moving up to his 5th division it would obviously be a different fight lol. Bivol did what he was supposed to as a skilled bigger man beating the naturally smaller man but he's got more work to do in his division. He still hasn't even unified.
