Plane looks beautiful because of Boeing design of the 747. Air India has lots to catch up to,,service sucks,,insides dated,,spice jet and Indigo were classier and beyond what air india was when I flew throughout india recently. AIR INDIA STUNK in service and ambience.

Just before the AI one starts its take off, a Air France aircraft is seen taking off. The difference between the Air France take off and Air India with VIP on board is hardly of 30 seconds. Is it safe , for another plane to take off just before a VIP take off. Isn't it a safety Hazard.

It is an anticipated clearance that AI has received. The controller cleared AI shortly before the AF was passing the RWY intersection, knowing that the AF aircraft will pass the intersection in any case and AI's path is clear. A common procedure, also at other airports with intersection runways. Plus, this AI aircraft was handled like every other aircraft at the airport. During landing it has received priority and a special clearance for RWY16 instead of 14 due to the shorter taxi route to the parking position.

Thanks for watching! These are recordings of the ATC, recorded from an ATC scanner. There are some countries which prohibit to use such devices, but in Switzerland it is no problem, no matter which aircraft is moving since there's not that much of a difference to the normal aircraft in regard to what is communicated between crew and ATC.
