When I was a kid in the early 70's I fell in love with the Herk. The (US) Air National Guard unit near my home converted to C-130Bs, hand me downs from service in Vietnam. They seemed to fly every day - shaking our house! I would run outside to look! Dad got us a tour at the base and I took a bunch of pics. However I was not allowed to photograph the interior- supposedly there was classified equipment installed. However since then I've photographed the details of many Herks with the intention of building models. But to be honest I don't know if I would have the patience to replicate enough of the interior structure and equipment to satisfy my sort of OCD. I'm curious about how Zvesda researched and engineered the kit. Did they get cooperation from Lockheed Martin? Since you worked on them I'm sure that you would spot any glaring issues with kit. You obviously noticed the wheels and tires. Thsnks!
