Good one mate you hit some nice power there, I like smaller groups not like 3-5 but around 10 is good fun it feels more tactical then and you can see everyone and not hiden in a mass group Hopefully see you soon on Zwift mate keep up the vids we all love them

Thanks mate much appreciated! Yeah I agree, I think the 10-20 mark is the sweet spot for me! I’ve got a small holiday coming up towards the start of June then I’ll be all over the ladder racing hopefully with the Snow ❄️ team! Hope all is well with you mate 👍🏻

I enjoy smaller fields. More of a fight, rider vs rider and much more interesting/tactical imho 😊

I completely agree! I don’t mind the bigger fields in the FRR or ZRL races but it’s good to also battle with a smaller field as it definitely can be more tactical! 👍🏻👍🏻

I think that the smaller fields can lead to much more tactical racing- it can be easier to break away with no large bunch chasing you down. Most races are the same- fast start, VO2 max on the climbs, sprint with a reduced group at the end so it’s pretty refreshing to try something different (especially if like me you have no sprint). Great effort and result, really good power up the climb and unlucky not to get back onto the wheel at the end.

Hi Andrew, thanks very much - I enjoyed this one even though it was a smaller field. Like you say it can be quite a lot of fun mixing up the tactics and trying out different moves depending on your strengths! I was a bit gutted not to get back on after the escalator but fair play to the guy for getting the jump on me! 👍🏻👍🏻

That was a great race. It's true when you say you try to shoot for little milestones within a race. That's what I do since I know I'm never going to win one. You sure did break up that field!
