It's time for Zwift Triathlon Academy 2021! The academy is now in its fourth year and has paved the way for top age-group triathletes to follow their dreams to compete at the Ironman World Championships. We thought it would be fun to take a look at where those previous academy team members are now & give you a sneak peek into what's to come this year!

Since 2018 Zwift has been running the Zwift Academy Triathlon Team. Each year the academy selects a small number of Age-Group triathletes from around the world with ambitions of competing at the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona.
Those lucky athletes are given the full pro treatment and supported on their journey to Kona. And with this year’s academy opening its doors very soon, for anyone to register to, we thought it would be fun to take a look at where those previous academy team members are now.
Are they still racing? Are they targeting Kona again? Or, are they now pro themselves?
And whilst we’re at it...let’s give you a little sneak peek into what's to come this year!

Same comment I type every year: you test thousands of athletes, you select the best, you give them the best equipment and support: then you bathe in glory when they qualify for kona... what's the point? Wouldn't it be more interesting taking some newbies or middle-level amateurs and see where you can get them?

Easy fix : run on a track with your phone, zwift app and a footpod.
