This is actually pretty easy on radical red because rain teams are broken. Swift swim fisheous rend seaking is good af. You can even run a sand team and use sand rush dracovish and some shell smashing water rock types/water ground types

You can make some incredible snow teams. Several pokemon now have slush rush. Glaceon, Arctozolt and arctovish are NUTS with fisheous rend and bolt beak always going first with the doubled hail speed

My favorite water type Pokemon in Radical Red is Greninja because of its ability Battle Bond: it raises its stats by 110 base points, 10-20 points more than a Megaevolution, and you are capable of a "second" Megaevolution during the same match (like Swampert or Blastoise, if you're using a full monotype Water run). In the post-game, at Sevii Islands, I had a Greninja with this moveset: - Black Hole (100 damage, 100 precision), a special attack, dark type, and its second effect is to put on sleep the opponent with a probability of 30%. A broken move for a broken Pokemon, especially after the ability activation. - Water Shuriken, excellent for its priority, like First Impression, but you can use it multiple times without switching. - Ice Beam, a superior move if you decide to use Protean ability. In Pokemon Òpal I used a Protean Greninja and with Ice Beam it was possible to OHKO every Grass and Dragon type. - Scald, I don't have to explain why this move is so useful. I never liked Swampert so much, I always preferred Sceptile because of its incredible speed and its Dragon type. Swampert is too much vulnerable.
