Haven’t even watched the video yet, and I can already tell you, this ain’t the darkest Pokémon game. The darkest Pokémon game award probably goes to Pokémon Reborn, which is one of the best Pokémon games ever made. Personally, I think it’s the best.

Pokeballs don't actually work on humans as demonstrated in the let's go games, aka green pegging like 8 pokeballs at you and failing

Also in Legends Arceus, Laventon says that all Pokémon have the natural ability to shrink (you could say down to pocket size and that’s how they came up with the name Pokémon in-universe), and Poké Balls are just making that ability activate & pulling them inside the ball. Because of that, Poké Balls can only ever work on Pokémon. Not humans, and not creatures that aren’t Pokémon (which probably aren’t a thing, but they are implied to exist sometimes, including in Scarlet/Violet).

we need a pokemon game that is open world mmo. you can start in any region and explore all regions and pick a starter other than just the normal 3 from those regions. not any pokemon should be a starter but there should be more that you can choose from. you should be able to choose to join any organization like team rocket, etc. the teams should have rankings. to start teams would have npcs in place of players because its the start of the game at launch. but as players join the teams you can rank up by beating the npcs in the teams. at some point all the npcs would get beat and all the members of teams are just players. so at that point you would pvp with your team to get higher ranks and can take over as boss of the team. so the leaders can always change if they lose to other members. there should also be team pvp so that teams can pvp each other and the total pvp rankings of all members of each team is counted up so we could have a ranking for the teams overall. you could do something similar with gym leaders. they would be npcs at first and later on players would take over gyms. you could also do something like helldivers where each team could control a certain amount of area of each region or just the regions overall. and depending on the pvp battles and rankings you could give a small buff for a period of time before each region is a contested region again. you can also have factions that oppose the teams too that you can join and teh contested areas could be controlled by them too. this way you dont necessarily have to join the bad guys like team rocket etc.
