Great job I’ve really enjoyed watching all the videos. They do suffer from clutch drag after standing for a while mine is the same but soon sorts itself out. These big Kawasaki’s are well worth preserving👍👍

Yeah woz a bit worried about it, but like you said, it clears up. Yes it’s a cracking bike 👍🏼

It's looking great and its a fantastic feeling when it's all back together looking so good. One word of warning, make sure that the rear wheel bush is the right way round on the rear brake carrier. I got it wrong and this along with not setting the play correctly on the rear brake master cylinder caused the rear brake to bind. I ruined two sets of rear pads and seals before I figured out what was wrong. I was lucky the rear wheel didn't lock, it was so bad the rear disc was glowing red.

Always nice to see someone tighten bolts evenly. My GTR1400 had warped rotors early on. They were replaced under warranty, but the technician did not tighten the bolts evenly which resulted in the feel of warped rotors again. After removing and tightening them evenly, it is the way it should have been from the factory. It certainly makes me think twice about taking it back to shop.

That’s why I do most of my own maintenance, but if you do find a good mechanic, keep him 😂

I will be really interested in how the Road Pilots perform. I have Bridgestone BT 021's on mine, they are fine in the dry but I dont get much feedback in the rain. I have heard good things about the Michelins.

Hi, I can't give any comparison with the Bridgestones. But can't speak more highly for the Road's, I've used them since about 2008/9 when I used them on my 2007 Zx10. ( probably Road 2's or 3's then) before that I used 'Pilot Power' I've ridden lots of bike using sketchy wet weather tyres, but you won't get that feeling on the Road's. Also your getting 5000+ miles from them, as most sport tyre you will struggle to get 2000 miles. My biking mates took the micky, when I first put sport/touring tyres on my sports bike....... Now they all use them So you have good dry grip, good wet grip, and longevity.....win win
