Mario Party 5 is a really unique entry in the series. The capsules are an interesting system where you “build” upon the board, adding stuff like Koopa Banks,Chance Time, and various traps wherever you want. While I overall prefer the orbs in Mario Party 6, this game has very interesting mechanics overall

Mario Party 5 is such a gem. I also enjoy the Star Spirits' reappearance in this game. So it shows that they're also present in the non-paper Mario world.

14:19 Piece Out was in Mario Party DS as one of the puzzle mini-game extras Also, I loved Mario Party 5 especially story mode as a kid. I always found it so unique to other Mario Party story modes, and a really interesting concept for a solo mode. There were so many solid mini-games in Mario Party 5 too. Definitely one of my favourite games in the series!

I never understood why Toad and Boo aren't playable in this mod. It does make sense for Koopa Kid, since he's the main threat in these boards. But what's wrong with Boo and Toad, they could just use a random character for 2 vs. 2 when Toad is being played.
