A couple of things about Beidou's parry, against cryo or pyro damage, you always get max damage bonus off on a single hit, even if not perfect timing it. This is because holding E applies electro on Beidou, and the incoming pyro/cryo damage will trigger overload/superconduct, the reaction will cause a separate instance of damage, thus giving you two stacks of bonus damage for her E. Do be careful with Cryo though, it will shred your own armor, and if you have hydro on you, ie when it's raining, it will freeze you and cancel the damage from the E completely.

I think this depends on elements applied to you. If you use beidou alongside bennett (very good for snapshotting) then your beidou will be affected by pyro often and this technique won't work. Additionally, if you parry hydro attacks with beidou's E it's generally better to do so with a seperate shield active and switching away asap after successful parry. The issue is that even by parrying the right way enemies will trigger electro-charged on you (abyss hydro mages, heralds etc...).

Because they fixed her bouncing issue one patch and she wasn't wasting 3 bounces on enemy WEAPONS of all things. Weapons that don't have HP bars. Now she actually does properly hit enemies 5 times with her ult and does a shit ton of damage. People had no idea why she felt mediocre for so long at the start til they realized she was literally wasting her ult because of a bug.

I know I'm a noob, but Electro reactions have been carrying my ass for a while now. I set things on fire or get them wet, then I click the attack button on my Elemental Mastery Lisa and everything dies pretty quickly... as far as ordinary mobs are concerned anyway. Bear with me here okay, I still haven't reached the point of the game where one should worry about builds anyway. I'm happy when my amber does a 7k+ crit hit on a fully charged arrow every now and then, and this guy here is melting Abyss like it's nothing.

I play on mobile and parries somehow good enough. It's just a matter of repetition for me lol though sometimes in abyss when enemies tend to attack at the same time (i.e geovishap), i can't timed perfectly because of frame drops and also the character switching in mobile isn't as fluid compared to pc/consoles with slight delays involved. Nonetheless, fun character to use both open world/abyss runs with various artifact sets for her to maximize.

1:30 To explain this more in depth: if you hold the skill and are hit within 20 frames, perfect parry will trigger. There is a visual indicator that tells you when a hit will trigger a perfect parry (a brief flash of the electro bubble protecting Beidou). As long as Beidou receives damage from any sourcs during the frames where the bubble flashes, the parry will be a perfect parry. I don't think this was demonstrated very well in the video because the parries were all press and not hold. Holding Beidou's shield after a perfect parry is still viable to mitigate multi-hit atk dmg if needed, or if waiting to agro more enemies into swinging range. 4:35 Character dependent team-comps do not offset a character's inherent flaws. Forcing an electro resonance team isn't great for a character unless there is also synergy with the DPS carry. For instance, you definitely can't use Beidou and Fischl with Diluc or Razor teams due to bad element synergy (Overload knocks enemies too far away) and elemental coverage overlapping respectively. Also, to achieve Electro resonance, Lisa can be substituted if you do not have Fischl.

came back here right after i tested beidou... she's INSANE! im only at talent 6 but i could already tell the difference.... sucrose, xq,fischl,beidou team is my new favorite... you always have all their ults up. my beidou only has 125 ER, but with this team comp, you dont have to worry about energy cost... and you dont really have to worry about sucrose dying while autoattacking since both xq and beidou have damage reduction. plus you could heal with xq's skill.

Honestly with Fischl all I need is an ER weapon and I get my burst off cool down as an off field damage. I use Skyward Pride but before I used Sacrificial Great sword and it was fine. With Fischl and an ER weapon you can just look for ER in sub stats

I'm torn between using beidou and razor, I like razor's abilities and design but I think I like playing beidou more because she uses a different claymore technique (same thing with rosaria and chongyun, I just can't pick 😭)

I got bored with razor really fast because he’s just a smash button character ,, I love that w beidou u have to learn the enemies really well, and that it’s satisfying af to perfect parry. Also she’s a hot thic pirate. It really depends on your preferences, who you enjoy playing more.

i prefer beidou. she might seem weaker at first to main, but she scales way better late game. razor falls off like a brick. it's ironic how razor was considered a stealth 5 star but turns out he's one of the weaker 4 stars.

I built both and I play both. But Razor is mainly a physical DPS, and Beidou is an Electro Dps. And both can clear the abyss.

I love to run Beidou with Klee way before the EM buff. I basically use Klee as main dps/stun-locker and any attack that can't be evaded is not a problem since I can just parry it instead and deal at least 25-35K+ per parry. Instead of running away from an un-dodgeable attack, you can just spare some time and deal a significant amount of damage just by pressing "E", which is so damn valuable.

Beidou main since I got her on the very first Childe banner in 1.1/November 2020 and her parry is EVERYTHING! You can deal damage even to passing by enemies, like the swooping Dvalin or the Wolf of the North in his circle & attack phase, and her burst on Childe's skill is free zapping everyone, it's a blessing. Childe + her shield also are genius for phase 2 (& 3) Childe boss because his electro attacks don't damage the electro shield so you can just slash at him the full time!
