Chapter 1 season 5 is better overall not because of nostalgia but just because of how good the game looked the cartoony look I think suits Fortnite so much more than current Fortnite and the weapon sounds and the graphics just look so much better it was honestly perfection

Turning off nanite makes the textures and models for the map itself switch to the original Chapter 1 graphics (except for the storm clouds)

@@Drforeverok if you have a display that can run 120hz yeah Turning on 120fps mode turns some of the settings down including turning off nanite

The new version feels better imo, the graphics are upgraded versions of the past, the visuals (lighting) is an incredible recreation, and the map works so well with the new mechanics

@@user-jd8qm5yq1q What why? I have been playing since Chapter 1 Season 3 and still am incredibly mediocre at the game lol. Been playing on PC since Chapter 2 Season 3 and still am mediocre there too, (I am balls on controller now), I like the new mechanics a ton, it makes the game feel more fast paced.

agreed man. im a ch1 s2 player but i love the current map/mechanics etc more. ch1 and its map will always be in my heart but i cant deny the fact that game feels much smoother and looks better compared to previous chapters

Not quite as og as everyone here but I started in s4 and I agree with yall, I really enjoy what they did with the graphics and keeping the newer mechanics (even though I will admit I really do like the chapter 1 graphics a lot). All these people that complain would probably be crying even harder if this season _was_ exactly 1:1 with original Fortnite.
