Billy & the boys have come a long way since the garage in Spring Branch! Amazing what talent & several decades can do! 🇺🇸💙

I remember seeing them in the '70's and they rocked it out big time, with a live steer on stage

I think what I respect most about Billy's guitar playing is that hesitated swagger. There's just a groove there that you can feel. It sounds simple, but getting it pocketed correctly isn't easy. Feel is everything with songs like this one.

Great band. I saw them once. It was the loudest concert I've ever been to. My ears rang for two hours after. Good times.
@Robin-kx3gc2 жыл бұрын
Ted Nugent feedback on and on for 15-20 minutes was THE loudest anything I've ever been exposed to, he was facing the stacks of amps and ignoring the fact that the audience was leaving in droves, I'm talking about a splitting headache and everyone wanted to hear Stranglehold I'm sure. The Selland Arena was half empty by the time we were leaving & I don't know how many people were still there when he finally turned around from the amps. I don't know what he was doing because I have talked to other people who saw him around the same time and they said he put on a good or great show. I saw ZZ Top twice and great both times. They put out a lot of sound for three guys. I gotta go. I'm gonna go see if I can find some cheap sunglasses 😎

As a drummer, this is my favorite ZZ Top song! It is an adventure with all the changes, ghost notes, etc, and that PAiSTe 2oo2 ride!! 🤤🤤🤤😋😋😋 Delicious!! Best sounding rides ever, and the entire line and all types and sizes, etc are awesome, rides, crashes, china types, sound edge hi hats etc, all magnificent and this is one of the tunes that helped me go over to PAiSTe 2oo2, and I will never look back! Best cymbals in the world! Frank Beard probably concurs! 👍🏻🤘😋 it was one of those things where you switch and don’t regret doing it! Beautiful cymbals! 👍🏻 YEE! ZZ Top is fantastic! Cheers all! And yes, I air drummed to this tune!! YEEE!!
