A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZbin. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZbin I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZbin won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZbin channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

Being from Texas, I'm usually biased but Rush is the only other 3-piece that can sound fuller. Too bad we couldnt get the classic Bands back in the 70's to join for ONE song Rush and ZZ Top, Stones and Fleetwood Mac, Zeppelin and ...well...nobody with Zeppelin =)

I'm lucky to live in St. Louis which is home to K-SHE95 one of if not the oldest rock and roll radio station in the world now in their 54th year and I remember recording this album off the radio as a kid, on Sundays K-SHE played complete albums, thats how i got most of my music.K-SHE still keeps that going ,every Sunday 6:00 pm- midnight the seventhday

The early albums capture Billy at his smokin best. You can see why Hendrix was a big fan- they were buds... Check out entire La Grange album, BarBQ, Nasty Dogs and Funky Kings, Under Pressure, Tube Snake Boogie...saw them live many times in 70’s and 80’s and even a few years ago, and that three piece band still kills it every night...

Right after they released 'Tres Hombres', they were the opening act for Alice Cooper and his 'Billion Dollar Babies' show here. When ZZ got finished, a LOT of the crowd left the arena. Nothing against Alice, but they were boogied out by that time and just had to get out and fully digest what they had just witnessed.

I saw ZZ in 73 open for Rare Earth, it was probably in the top 5 live shows I have seen. I have seen them 6 times but the first show was the best. They still are a good live act!

So glad to see you doing ZZ Top. Check out "Heard it on the X". Saw them the first time in 1974, in Bakersfield, California. Played with Doobie Brothers and Savoy Brown. People kept want them to come back during Brown's set. They were awesome. Seen them a bunch of times since.

In 1981 ZZ Top opened for thr Rolling Stones in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl on Halloween night and again the next day. They had these white western suites and hats studded with Rhinestones and big ass white fuzzy guitairs that spun...They were awesome. Yeah - Mick and Keith were ok.
