@@lq5028 But seriously though, JESUS IS Coming back....and that day draws nearer every day. On a day in the not distant future (I truly believe) Jesus will step into the clouds above this planet that He created, and call every Christian on this dying world to Instantly be with Him forever in the heavens. All in the blink of an eye, E.v.e.r.y. Believer will disappear. One will be on the operating table, and like poof, be just gone...or the Surgeon will disappear, the one flying the airliner, or driving the big rig. We can't imagine the chaos that will ensue for the last 7 years of Tribulation; the likes of which has never before been. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Billy introduced the song that they were cruising thru Huntsville by the Texas Womens prison and saw two women hitchiking. Picked them up and it turns out they just got out of prison after quite a while of incarceration and were looking to kick up their heels a little - one was named Precious and one was named Grace and.. .. .. No matter which guitar Billy plays, he sounds the same -- hot, funky, and good. He's the master of superb rock tone; he knows in his Texan guts that while shredding impresses people, it doesn't move them, and the best music, the music we remember and love, moves us.
@princerd103 жыл бұрын
He has a whole array of electronics that replicates the sound of his Gibson Les Paul he named "Pearly Gates". Regardless of the guitar Billy's playing, it sounds like that vintage Gibson. He no longer tours with the Gibson for fear of damage or theft. Billy has several custom made guitars he now uses.

He also saw several other classic bands with me. I once asked him if he would be embarassed to be seen with his father at such concerts? He replied, nobody his age will be within 100 miles of here. He loves classic rock, blues and especially jazz. He asked me to see B.B. King with him that same year. Buddy Guy was the opening act. Buddy came into the audience with a wireless connection to his amp and played a solo 5" from our seats.
