Just saw them this summer. I walked away thinking that you simply can't replace Dusty Hill. Elwood's sound is amazing, and he is on point with his playing. But why they have him doing the same moves that dusty took years to perfect on stage is beyond me. I think better path is to have him own his own style completely. Also wish they would get away from the same old same old hits and play some of the other awesome stuff they recorded. Nobody at this point really needs to see them play Sharp Dressed Man again.

The album Fandango was my high school sound track. My Indian buddy when we were 16 he had a brand new dodge power wagon. Every weekend we would go to Olympia and cruise the strip. We would have some dude buy us a 5th of Black Velvet and would throw away the cap and down it straight. It would take us a half hour to get to olympia. Most times it was gone by then. I am SO GLAD i grew up in the late 70's. NFW would kids get away with that today. I know we were lucky. That being said we never had a close call on anything. Just lucky!

The guitar hook has a hypnotic effect. Especially when extended in concert settin.

I didn't realize Dusty and Billy would switch up doing lead vocals on the same songs. Cool videos out there of Dusty singing the leads in this song. This version seems a little lower tempo than the others I've heard. Thanks for the music Dusty and friends, RIP

Huge Frank Beard fan here! One of the most underrated guys in rock drumming BUT he seems to be struggling in recent years physically. I realize they're all getting old but he does drag tempos a lot in the performances I've seen in the last 15 years or so. No so in the vintage stuff. The German show from 1980, he was absolutely smokin' on the kit. Times catches up to us all....

The reason this is so shit is because they're all been part time players (if that) since the mid 90s. They've been NOT playing much longer than most bands are ever together. Shame in a way, you almost wish they called it a day.
