Saw them @Elks's Lodge first time in Pasadena, Tx... '69-70. Around Htown a few times later on. My freshman buddies bought a 100w. Marshall head from Billy. He played "Brown Sugar" in a demo. They only had 1 or 2 lps out... I, also, saw Rocky Hill, Dusty's brother, a couple times... Badass guitarist back then!.. "That little ol' band from Texas" 🇨🇱 Dusty Hill, RIP

I was privileged to see ZZ Top in Mt Pleasant, MI just days before the passing of Dusty Hill. It was one of the best concerts of my life. George Thorogood and John Fogerty of CCR opened up for ZZ Top. RIP Dusty Hill and my condolences to Frank and Billy. You guys are legends!

Saw them 6 times I think the best show was the Recycler tour the Black Crowes opened up and the sound was very distorted ZZ TOP came out it was twice as loud and crystal clear they are not fancy on stage just a class act I wish Dusty was still with us. They will go down as one of the greatest bands ever. Ps no one will ever get away with the lyrics that they did in a class act

Being from Boise Idaho for years Now 73 I used to drive right by Bolin Guitars shop So few knew that John Bolin crafted many of Billy's And Dustin's guitars plus so many other legends Jo Pery, Jimmy Page, etc John heard ZZ Top was coming to Boise years ago so quickly built 2 awesome guitars and snuck in backstage and yelled"Hey Billy" holding up one candy apple red guitar Billy lowered his shades and said "Grab your best and meet me in 10 in the green room" The rest is history so if you've never heard of Bolinguitars yes you have John and his son now running 6500 Sq ft shop in Boise RIP Dusty your missed

Great clip, and such a treat to see and hear Dusty. I first saw ZZ Top on the Deguello tour at the Long Beach Arena. Just three guys and a mostly bare stage in front of a wall of amps (and the Lone Wolf Horns on video), and they absolutely killed it. To switch from the over-the-top World Wide Texas Tour to something so simple and still put on an incredible show speaks to the great musicianship and cohesion of an amazing trio.

Amen brother Adam. Saw them on that kick ass tour, and several others as well. Three dudes making an incredible wall of of the sound of Texas boogie. RIP Dusty Hill
