For me, it's Ben's death animation that really gets me because of how he tried to fall on his side but ends up on his back, positioning in the perfect angle for the camera to see as the life fades from his face as he closes his eye.

I mean.. that's how most people who die in combat would look like if they didn't die instantly They either flop or try to soften the blow In most games, it is implied the characters die instantly, like in Cod or tf2, they just ragdoll or explode

Qingyi is a robot, she mentioned that if her battery were to completely die she enters a stasisesque mode and she will remain in her last pose that she was in before her battery died, like a statue.

While I understand that it's a failed operation, I wonder, if there is one by any chance, was a quick revive for the story / combat mission or hollow zero resonium. Whenever a player fails near the end, albeit a boss fight with low health / 2nd phase or final wave, there was a chance to quickly get back up, but the character that recently went down gets 5% HP back. Kind of like a kip-up in some games. Fail again and this would play instead. I would love to see a "motivated" animation for every character.
