I've bought recently a Kryptonic torpedo with max weight 110lbs alert and I thought selling it because I weigh approximately 180lbs or more hahahaha, but thanks for your informative video I will try my board tonight. I hope that I don't break my board. The tests with your vehicle were amazing!!

I just tried a torpedo vs my penny,... I weight 130 lbs, first difference was the penny being more stiff! It carries me no problem, the kriptonics bebe slightly, not to much that's uncomfortable, my pent is in fact smaller so it's not as forgiving as the kriptonics, one kriptonics has stock wheels and vs my penny i still prefer the penny, but my other kriptonics has 68 wheels and it's so ridiculous more controllable! Sand going on downhill i prefer that kriptonics with the 68 mm wheels, the penny is just too fast i lose control very quickly, the trail on the torpedo is also more forgiving but! Doesn't have much leverage! The penny has very good leverage for quick turns , i bought all of them used, got the penny i paid $40 and it's a Casper glow 22, the torpedos i got 3 for $20, and one of them is modded, so due to my experience with them if I'm going to buy a stock one, i would but the penny of money wasn't an issue, but the torpedo with the 68 mm wheels really changed it and in that case i might choose the modded torpedo. At the end they both can carry a big 130 lbs 34 yr old guy lol

Kryptonics used to be one of the best and highly regarded skateboard product manufactures through 70s and mid 80s. They sold out and now sell this stuff and worse at Walmart... 😶

I have both Penny Board (not from Penny) and Nickel Board. In terms of riding stability, especially on bumps, cracks, and downhill, Nickel Board is at least twice more stable. Watch my video on both skateboards in my channel.

After having 5 different boards stacked on the wall for the flavor of the day the torpedo became my board that stays in the truck. Since it doesn't warp or stress crack or mess up the wood layers in the sun or humidity. I just swapped out to some 60mm 78a gold coast wheels and some bones bearings and independent bushings and I think I get more fun out of it then my longboard! This thing glides! And fun to mess around on and not have to get to serious or tech.... if you want. But all around either are good fun to have around !!

You do realize the penny board cracked easily is cause of the cold. I have had my penny board for over 10 years and never cracked it

Longboard for cruising carving, not for jumping on in the middle of a wide span. Am interested what Penny said when you contacted them and told them it snapped.

I learned how to ride on a penny classic and a 27 inch is on the way, just watched some more and the so say vibrations for the 27 inch are scaring me cuz on "my" penny and the asphalt is bumpy a 22 inch make my feet cramp and go numb, so how bad is the 27 inch gonna be?

i got the same one. i have a skateboard but skateboard are hard to turn on and mine is too big for me rn so i just bought the penny board to help me so when i grow more i can use my skateboard instead
