I'm a huge fan of sprue goo for narrow gaps and if you let it firm up to a soft plastic consistency, like green stuff, you can fill larger gaps and work it to shape. Then a little liquid cement to fix it all in place and smooth it up too.

Joking aside, hobbies may very well be a luxury (of sorts), but that doesn't justify airbrush thinner & cleaner having a comparable cost to Louis Vuitton fragrances (okay, so I'm still joking - a bit). 😁 Thank you for the recipes 👍

Anyone following this advice - DO YOUR OWN TESTING on a small miniature first! I've assumed all acetone-free nail polish remover is the same potent-wise, but that's not the case The one I got from a drug store melted 6 minis completely in 3 hours and slightly morphed another one in just 20 mins. It's 100% on me, I am not blaming the author, just a warning for everyone checking the video!
@TheAll-InNerd17 күн бұрын
@@zouwenpublic I’m sorry to hear that mate! In the video I melt a hole in my container in a matter of minutes so I would say it’s quite obvious that it could be very potent! So I’m not surprised that 3 hours was way too long. In my second attempt I didn’t even dip the model, I was just brushing it on and even that took away most of the paint! It’s unfortunate that this didn’t come through in the video.

I'm trying to copy some 1/6 Scale Clone Trooper DC-17 Blasters. I'm getting frustrated. They either come out with the two halves uneven or a little too thick. I need to get them perfect. @@praventz with the acetone free nail polish it seem to a bit of hit-and-miss. Some people get frustrated because it’s too potent and destroy their minis when they soaked them for too long etc. Sadly I just tested that very one and that was, in my opinion, Very potent.
