You should look at the type of plastic container you are using, as the nail polish remover comes in a plastic container. I think you will find that the nail polish remover comes in High-density polyethylene (HDPE) and that plastic container you use was Polypropylene (PP). The recycling symbol can be use to tell the difference.

Thanks for a very informative video. I use Purple Power available in the automotive department at Walmart or Oil Eater from an auto parts store. Both are biodegradable and reasonably safe for skin contact for a short period although they will "degrease" your fingers too. It's biostrip 20 for metal models & pure alcohol for plastics in my opinion. Idip in EPA for a few hours, use a tooth brush & then an old paint brush to get any paint left in cracks. Genestealers are a pretty extreme model to strip due to the nooks & crannies. If you don't know what primer was used on the models it's not truly a fair test in my opinion though.
@TheAll-InNerd Жыл бұрын
The primer used on the genestealers was Chaos black with a zenithal of Grey Seer from Citadel. The Razorback/Rhino was bought painted so with that one I didn’t know what kind of primer that was used. So I guess that Biostrip wouldn’t be the best choice if you don’t know what paint and primer that’s been used. That’s a downside of buying second hand that you want to strip. Best of luck stripping!
