It's not! Stomach massage round is done on 4 springs!

Hey, I have been following your pilates beginner series and loving it so far. I had a question though, that do we engage the core as we breathe out and then relax while breathing in or do we have to keep the core engaged the whole time?

engage on the exhale - think inhale to lengthen and create space in the spine, exhale as everything knits together

a 19 year old here who is trying to find her posture because I'm 4'11 and a good posture can really add about an inch to your height but im struggling to align my hips and ribcage and my back doesn't really press into the mat when i lay down, there's a space there between my spine and the mat, about enough space to insert a pinky finger so will be rewatching this again until i get things right !!!

I did not understand value of just doing the same set of exercises everyday until I did the order. Not just physically, but mentally as well. It takes out a lot of the guess work and the uncertainty especially when I was doing core work. And it allows me to be realistic about what I can do for my other fitness goals.
