Can you make another like this with all on side or back but not pelvic tilts more like scissors with legs in air this is the best for injuries

ur words are so inspirational i was doing weight training for few days and feel like starting to focus on my body flexibility and came to know pilates would help it and i don’t have any idea about pilates but ur video is very helpful for me to know more about this pilates and somehow ur words are so motivating definitely i will try pilates starting tmrw from ur beginner playlist ~love from asia

Are heavy weights ever necessary with Pilates? It seems extreme to me.

the principles of pilates and strength training are different - so we don't use heavy weights in pilates because it doesn't really support the goals of the practice. on the mat we use lighter weights, but on equipment everything has resistance with spring tension. so no, we don't use heavy weights in Pilates

Teaser 1…only upper body lowers with legs extended in v sit. Teaser 2…only legs lower while upper body is lifted in v sit. Teaser 3… upper body and legs lower to a hover and back up to v sit (don’t stop at the bottom or you’ll die). PS if you want a suggestion for the ball in prone for swan, I can share some things…you probably already know them and chose not to include them.

this is an older class 😉 from before I became a classical freak that knew all the teaser variations like the back of my hand lol - I did teaser one leg (and not the correct execution). what's actually crazy is in my comprehensive we only learned teaser 3 on the mat, it wasn't until I went through Peak training that I learned the other teaser variations on the mat

Love that you did Ashiya’s kneeling to side plank transition (dunno if it’s really hers, but I first saw her do it on ig so I associate it with her). I did a similar sequence for my test out…side lying leg lifts and circles, press up to counter stretch, come to kneeling on the bottom leg, top leg lifts to hip height for kicks, then lowers with bottom leg to the back for side bend twist. Lower, swizzle legs around, and repeat with the other side. I started with lying on the right side so it was the right arm that was supporting initially as the stronger arm.

Idk if I'm doing the exercises right or not but why my body shakes when I do some of them? literally my whole body shakes, it's not the first time tho, it usually happened when I work out not just the pilates, help please😥😥😥 btw I'm 17
