Great to see some gameplay with the new Spartan edition minis, and played by 2 different people instead of just 1. I did notice a few mistakes such as when you used Lethal 1 to take down the extra shield at 10:45, the rule only comes into effect when you cause 1 or more wounds so once shields are down and you get past the armour you do an additional wound. You do correct yourself the next time you fire the weapon. You also missed the free Scout moves, but these are optional if you want to use it or lose it. Hope to see some more gameplay soon. Keep it up.

Thanks for watching! Yes we definitely got a few mistakes in but we're able to catch and correct in most cases as the rules are not all that ambiguous. Thanks again and hopefully will get some more up soon!

Gentlemen, lovely terrain, buildings/ruins, miniatures and vehicles. Your board and game are addictive eye-candy. Well done on the skill of the modeller's craft. You do the hobby proud. A good and very enjoyable game to watch. You both seemed to enjoy yourselves immensely and that enthusiasm came through clearly when watching this video which you posted. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to share these videos with your fellow table-top wargamers. They are much appreciated. On an historical note, the Canadians likely never used A27 Cromwell cruiser tanks although the Polish 1st Armoured Division which was part of the Canadian First Army in NWE did use them in their Recce Squadrons. I've found some few (3) photos over the years of Cromwell tanks labelled as in Canadian service but these were likely mislabelled before being archived. Thanks again for sharing a most entertaining and (from a terrain and modelling aspect) inspiring game with us. Bravo to you both as you have indeed gone "over the top" in your craft and modelling achievements.

@29:10 if your firing the lmg one man acts as a loader and thus doesn’t get to shoot his rifle. If they are the same squad as the ones at 2:29 then you would get 4 shots from the lmg 2 shots from the smg nco not counting movement due to the assault rule from sub machine guns and 2 shots from the rifles that aren’t loaders. I know it largely means nothing in the long run as they failed the moral check for losing half the squad but unfortunately I recently passed the BAR (browning automatic rifle) exam and have since become a rules lawer lol jk.
@overthetopgaming84987 ай бұрын
I actually only counted the two dice for the riflemen. Some things go unspoken. I threw 8 dice, 4 lmg, 2 smg and 2 rifles. One rifle left off as loader. Thanks for watching and being sharp though as we do make mistakes, which happens. I hope you enjoy the video.
@destinhope37757 ай бұрын
I did enjoy the game can’t wait for the next one! just to be clear there would have been three hits due to the smg only needing 5’s to hit (which should have been rolled separately) base 3 to hit hard cover +2 small team +1 the smg doesn’t count movement then -1 for point blank.

Not sure here but when you did the flame thrower hits in the building you rolled for kills and you said "Same as usual for hits" , and you only counted over 4 hits, but the flame thrower hits harder than a "normal" "to kill" roll. I think it's +3 (or maybe a +2, cant recall😂) I think you should have killed on a 1 up not 4 for regular and a 2 up for veterans. Flamethrowers basically , if they hit you're going to burn!! 😂 Don't forget the flame thrower already has to hit first , then roll a high d6 to get enough in the one hit , so the "to kill" roll is only fair it's a fairly easy kill.

Good game, awesome terrain! I never seen anyone rollas many 5s or 6s than the Germans and still lose the game lol. You didn’t play the Tiger Fear rule which could have helped the Germans. Gavin was played by Ryan O Neal. Elliot Gould played Col. Sink.

In the nebelwefer/ multiple rocket launcher attacks the additional targets rolled for are within 6" of the original 3 " template ( heavy mortar ) not 6" from the target. We had to make a 9" diameter burst area for our group.
