In the nebelwefer/ multiple rocket launcher attacks the additional targets rolled for are within 6" of the original 3 " template ( heavy mortar ) not 6" from the target. We had to make a 9" diameter burst area for our group. One game had a 12 man squad in a straight line almost 24" across .6" from any part of that UNIT not the original 3" template covered 2 square feet in size on the table. .... LOL .Great looking table and terrain

If you roll to damage and it is equal to the armour of the target it is super ficial damage. For this you also roll on the vehicle damage chart and from there it is -3

Seriously, the scatter terrain is amazingly detailed. Tracked vehicles cannot pivot on a run order.

Are all the standard Soviet infantry Warlord games models?

Yes just the Naval squad was from Artizan. The rest are Warlord.

I found the Warlord Soviets kits a little fiddly but there are so many options that are possible. They could definitely use an update as far as the sculpts are concerned when you look at the newer kits they are releasing, but these are fine. I still really enjoyed building and painting them though as they were my first Bolt Action kit!

These are all 3d printed. The roofs are custom jobs though. Towels and cereal boxes.

The Soviets should of had a mortar be it medium or heavy for HE support, unless they was blocked from being picked.

No not blocked I've just not been taking them and relying on the forward artillery observer a little too much. Getting two rounds is good unless you hit your own units like I did in this scenario!

The Bolt action minis from Warlord games are fairly inexpensive when compared to other tabletop games. You can play right away with a starter box. This game probably has one of the easiest entry points financially.
