Brilliant stuff, guys. The terrain and armies are both top notch and of course snipers firing into the air rolling 1s and 2s completely tied the game together. It's good to see that other people can jinx their rolls and incur the wrath of the dice gods. Looking forward to the next scenario!

Thanks! Yeah the dice did their usual with the snipers. Having them be named characters didn't seem to help much lol

Nice game - just remember the Charge in Turn 2 around the wall would have been simultaneous because the charging Germans had to go 'around' the obstacle.

Thanks! I thought because they had line of sight and my guys weren't actually using the wall as a defensive position it was ok to assault my guys.

I do 2 house rules when dealing with Soviet SMG squads 1 is I let the player have a dedicated marksman where one model has a M 91/30 PU sniper rifle and so just like a sniper they land on a 3 but they have to roll what ever level to kill then roll to see if they do a 6 for exceptional damage as marksmen was not snipers but they was to suppress enemy units or crew on weapons that out performed and had greater reach than the SMG's that the squad had. And the Soviets did do this with SMG armed units and squads for the lack of reach they had (Outside 400 yards or 375 meters). 2 is when 6 inches or less you get double pins as PPSh-41's at 900 rounds per minute that would be a sheet of lead heading towards an infantry unit. I also allow this rule to the German or who ever that has 4 or more SMG's due to the same deal a lot of shots heading out and at close range, the sheer terror it would entail. Hence the 2 pins on a hit Everyone that has tried these like them as it gives them a little bit more flexibility with these specialist armed squads and a whole new randomness to the game.

Interesting points.I like the 2 pins idea. Those are a lot of shots. I was able to wipe 2 squads in this game at close range with them.

So cool. I’m looking forward to clubs in the future. Then I could just throw a plastic mat over the top of the game to keep the dust off. And put away the boxes for the reset
