Eureka! Just picked up my Taylor 322ce 12 fret, which had a buzz on the open G string. Looked at the tiny screws on the end of the tuning keys, and one was very loose. Tightened it up and buzz gone. What is interesting was that it only buzzed on that string open, note even on the same note played elsewhere…. Thanks for putting me on this trail!

I dont know if i should do the same process to my battery or not ? Because mine charge to 13.8 V. and start the car, but after a day left at cold weather below zero, will not start the car even the voltage is 12.6, and after two days even a little above zero like 34 F to 36 F. will not start the car, but after charging it, it will start the car immediately even too much below zero. And at warm wheather above 60 F. No problem even two days, willstill start the car.

I built that guitar in 2019 and I have a conclusion that sells their mistakes to the public ass kits. It still play though we did a good job on it Randy.

Man, I’m glad you made this video and that I found it! I’ve had my Halo pocket charger over 16 years. I don’t use it that often so I forget what the indicator lights mean. I was making sure mine was charged up because we’re having a winter ice storm coming. But I couldn’t remember what the green blinking light meant. I have no papers that came with it and I couldn’t find anything online when I googled it till I searched on KZbin and found this video you made. Greatly appreciate it.

I have a banner year, it's a work in progress,.. but when it was playin it had a nice tone I remember,. I got it for 25 bucks at a yard sale about 25 years ago.. from a guy that was in the service down in Texas during world war II... He bought the guitar down there in Texas.when I bought it I played a bunch of stuff it was at the side of the road we went by it a little yard sale on the side of the road.. play some Stevie Ray Vaughan some Jimi Hendrix ..etc.. how much I said?and he says well I know you'll play it ,25 bucks I said sold thank you. guy was an old-timer and he had a real Southern drawl.. a gift from God.. I need to fix that soon before I kick what the fuc..hahaha.. is Tony Rice says in cold in the shoulder we all getting old every day. Oh yeah and I remember too he said yeah that's been in the closet for like 25 years.. I actually drove by it I had to turn around because i spied the guitar.. with the Hawkeye.. I was with the wife and kids.. I think it was on a Sunday.. it was sunny.. I like to keep on The Sunny side...😀

@@RandySchartiger Yea, I'm from Ireland and it is pretty cold over here this time of yea. I have an old Japanese epiphone that was beginningto belly. I thought it was because I move into a new place, and it was due to dampness so I fitted one of those Bridge doctors. I didn't want to do it but it is done now. I never thought about the fact I changed the string to a heaver guage being the reason. Might need a neck reset and I definitely don't want to do that, might change the strings back to see what happens. I liked you video, Love John Prine

Excellent presentation of the procedure required to rejuvenate a car battery for do it yourselfers, listing amounts of solutions i.e. Baking soda to water for cleaning each cell.- Epson Salts [Bath Salts] to [only} Distilled water for electrolyte.- Charging cycles procedures and amounts required. - Last but not least a method and expiations as to why to apply a Load to discharge Battery. - Personnel safety. Doing it Outdoors. to avoid the lethal fumes that these procedures give off.

I really like the pro plus capo. It has a screw that you use to close the capo over your strings. You can adjust the amount of tension very easily. . Don’t have to spend as much time retuning I can just pick up my guitar and play.

I have a height adjustable metal saddle on my Japanese Dread from 1974 by Sagadia. It is a model 770. It sounds WONDERFUL with a sound that has been described as ‘vibey’. It is also more bass responsive than my Martín J41 Jumbo, probably as my Sagadia has a super thin laminated (yes laminated) sound board. The bridge was positioned incorrectly so: 1) I filed the compensated saddle flat flush with the metal body of the adjustable saddle 2) Using a V- Swiss file, I cut grooves in the metal and what was left of the plastic saddle, placed where the strings would lie. 3) I cut the brass eyes off the strings I had just discarded 4) I each dropped an eye over each of the new strings I was about to fit. 5) Next comes locating the new strings in the usual way, securing with the bridge pins 6) Bring the strings up to tension with the extra brass eyes located in the v-grooves cut by the Swiss file 7) Sound the octave harmonic at the 12th fret then fret that string . If the fretted note is sharp compared with the harmonic note, slide the free brass eye towards the bridge pin. If the fretted note is flat compared with the harmonic note, slide the eye away from the bridge pin. Note: be sure not to file the grooves too deep and angle them very slightly downwards towards the pins. With adjustable saddles treated as above you have far more adjustment open to you than with an orthodox non-height adjustable saddle. I replaced the pins with brass ones and made a replacement but from phosphor bronze go enhance the vibey character of the guitar. Sagadia 770s are very cheap. Don’t bother with Sagadia short scale Jumbos. They are awful.

Too long don’t wanna read: I feel your pain brother, and am toasting you by knocking back a couple mid-strength beers in your honor😊👍😬🍻 Moved to my place in June ‘97. Couple years ago gas company replaced lines and meter from main into the house. Dude scoped the line and said, “Yah, got you some tree roots comin in, might want to get that augered.” Sure as sh!t, this summer I’m swapping laundry in the basement while my elderly mom was showering - nearly the entire basement floor was 1/4” deep in water. Bang bang bang on the bathroom door, “Mom! Kill the water the basements flooded!!” So I’d just sold a truck worth of scrap metal (‘85 Jodge D150 with the 225ci/3.7l slant six 1/2 ton ~140k miles (that load was 1 ton plus, handled it like a champ)) and had to use almost all that $$ to rent a sewer auger to clear that sucker out. Worked a treat, but damn, didn’t really have that particular project quite so high on the never shrinking list of 85 things what need doing around here 🙄😊 PS- have you ever seen Charlie Parr live? Kind of an unsung national treasure, and has several shows coming up in January here in the Twin Cities. Like my buddy said, “Everybody should see him at least once in their life”

Most of the problems I ever had with Fords and Dodges is cooling fan issues, which leads to blown head gaskets. Besides that, Rust. If you get Nickel/Copper brake lines, they never rust out AND, you can bend them very easily.
