You can drink it 2-3 times a week if you have the problem of kidney stones. I don’t think it is effective for UTIs or ulcer or hormone imbalance - you can check before trying

Hi Shireen. Yours will be the 3rd recipe I'll be trying out. My first try the syrup turned back to sugar😂. The second try from a different recipe was ok but hardened upon cooking. I managed to reboil it and use it in my cake My question is when i do the strand test, the sugar syrup is on the stove. Can i swtch it off while I'm waiting for the results? Want to make sure i don't overcook. Also can i just use this for fruit cakes without using molasses n such? Thanks

Hi Christina! Well, you can do the strand test repeatedly until you get the right consistency. I have never tried turning off the stove

Ginjinha is made with sour cherry not normal ones ... You can skip most of the steps just put every ingredient in a bottle and sake it once in a while to dissolve the sugar if you aren't using sugar sirop... Best after 6 to 12 months of aging...

You can also put some spices in it the most used is cinnamon but I've tried with star anise, cardamom, juniper berries, hibiscus flower, orange rind etc etc ... Also can use , rum and probably whiskey too ...
