Future Redeemed is one of the best expansions I’ve ever played. The twist regarding the other four founders of the City and who they really are was so good. While at the same time made the ending so bitter sweet. It makes 3 so much better than it already was. I feel like Future Redeemed did a much better job enhancing the base game’s story than the Torna Expansion for Xenoblade 2. Yeah seeing the Aegis War, and meeting Addam, and learning who Lora was, was great and all but Future Redeemed just did it a little better.

Fun fact: Nimue(and Joran) were actually planned to be heroes. She even has an unused icon of her weapon class, showing rhat she was indeed planned to be a hero.

I never built up QT Pi, I did solo several super bosses with default poppy with the blocking build.

If you think about it. Rex’s damage is kinda why the tanks in FR tend can’t hold aggro.

Couldn't you play as malos early on in Xenoblade 2? I know it was only temporary but still

one thing you mistakenly imply is 0tp characters are useless, when they can let you get a little further in a chain order, which can be situationally useful.

I'd rank it higher than Torna and definitly lower than Future Redeemed(FR is imo the best Xenoblade that I have played thus far. And I only haven't played X. So it is not a fair comparison anyways). Otherwise, it is hard to really place it. It doesn't have most of the low points or high points I'd associate with 1 and 2 and it doesn't have the "strong gameplay systems and themes, but poor execution and unsatisfying conclusions" that I feel from 3. It is just a perfectly fine "3 star menu option"-experience that is nothing more and nothing less.

laughs. I always had Sharla in my party as my healer and did a great job vs all battles! o____o Even after 10years later, Xeno Def Edition. I picked Sharla to my party again! She was #1 pick for all Team combs lol.

A friend of mine was going through Xenoblade Chronicles the first time a couple of days ago, so when we got to Lorithia, I just told him, "Before we go any further, please switch to Melia." And yeah, it went by quickly. Best bird lady

Still wondering why after all this time Monolith didn’t attempt to patch in a fix so group 5 pity blades was an option again.

Melia...eh, I find her to be too inconsistent to be among the best, as her playstyle is notably different from the rest. I honestly prefer Riki more, as he can tank more damage than Melia can, and can deal decent damage with his Burninate and Freezinate, along with Bitey Bitey and Sneaky. He's also got reliable healing in You Can Do It!, and can potentially force Topple with Roly-Poly (sure, it's not guaranteed like Melia's Starlight Kick, but that requires using Spear Break first, so it's not always reliable either). In my mind, Riki is No. 4, ahead of Melia.

And yet Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is everyone's favorite.

When I played Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and DE My team was Riki, Sharla, Shulk. Sharla was a good healer to keep the only battle where I did not use her in, would be the worst boss in the game and maybe a couple of other fights.

I kinda wish Alvis was playable in general in 1. Agreement on Tyrea for Future Connected. Having Lao come back would've been nice (I don't care if you get his class, it's not my AU Dunban). "Indeed!" Can't say there was much room to have another character in Torna: TGC. Agreement on 3. Future Redeemed I have yet to play.

The menu interrupting the music was by far the worst offender in my experience.

Another thing to consider are the assist trophies. Fire Emblem is very limited as far as assist trophies go (tiki with 3 games+2 remakes, Lyn as the first character released in the west). Legend of Zelda has piles of assist trophies (Ghirahim, Midna, Majora, Tingle, etc.). Fire emblem also suffers from wasted stage syndrome. Colosseum is nonspecific and intersects thematically with arena Ferox. Castle siege is also nonspecific and not in any FE game.

The worst Blade in XC2 is actually Godfrey, not Electra, and that's because: A. He's a Shield Hammer B. His Element is Ice, which not only has the worst utility, it has the fewest rare Blades of almost every other Element (Second only to Light) C. Godfrey's Battle Skills contradict themselves. His first Skill is "Got the Guts," which reduces damage taken by up to 36% when HP is 30% or less. His third Skill, however, is "Light of Justice," which heals up to 1.4% of HP per second when it's below 30%. In other words, one of Godfrey's Skills instantly cancels out the other before it can properly take effect. D. His Field Skills, or rather, the lack thereof. Electra's not perfect, but she's one of the few Blades in the base-game to have the "Focus" Field Skill. (Which, SPOILER WARNING, could be really helpful if you don't have access to the Aegis) But all THREE of Godfrey's Field Skills have absolutely no use outside of his singular Blade Quest

I must have the best luck for anyone who’s ever played the game, because I pulled KOS-MOS in chapter 3 on a normal core crystal with no luck accessories or boosters on Nia. The odds of that has to be one in a million lol I definitely got those blades in group one soon after and I’m no where near close to seeing anything in the other groups at all

Question: would the common wind knuckle blade that Gramps gives ya and ur not allowed to dismiss count? Also, the worst AI in the Torna dlc is Laura. "Hey Laura, everyone's dying, can u get Haze on that?" "Can't talk, I'm gonna half my own hp"

After torna and xeno 3 i was literally close to explode from tears

So for my first playthrough I stupidly thought Classic mode wouldn't be too bad. I was battling in the early game, not long after the mock battle, and didn't realise permadeath would now be activated. During the battle, every unit (including Sylvain because female Byleth) died apart from Linhardt and Edelgard. Since I did Silver Snow, Linhardt became the only survivor in Black Eagles and became my favourite character because of how much he carried the early and mid game. For a good chunk of the game, Byleth, Shamir, Felix, and of course Linhardt were my only characters, and so I love all of them because of it

I was wondering why in my first playthrough of XC2 I was struggling so hard I had Nia running Electra

Maybe if this guy became a permanent party member we could have gotten more backstory on this character
