Jin is technically playable as a temporary member and in Torna, but yes it would have been nice if we had him for longer with a fleshed out moveset.

im sorry but you did not js say tora's other poppi forms are mid. Dilaton chip + block rate up v on poppi a gives her a 93% blockrate. Build tora to have Qtpi as a sword, and poppi as a shield with passive healing. I will admit qt is absolutely the worst, but poppi a definitely has her merit.

also, with zeke, i never use him. I have 500+ hours on the game and never used him in any comps. my current comp is: Rex = fiora @ tachyon chip, mythra @ moon matter chip, nia @ pentagon chip Morag = theory @ pentagon chip, corvin @ tachyon chip, brighid @ tachyon chip Tora = Poppi QtPi @ dilaton chip, Poppi A @ dilaton chip zeke never has a place on the comp, he just doesn't have as many tools as rex as his animations are great but he has trouble with recovery and gets killed too easily to justify a spot on the team.

Yeah, Alpha is good for blocking attacks I'll give you that. She's still mid in terms of her damage and since evasion is better than blocking anyway. Zeke has more good tools than Rex, though. Rex is only good with his wives, lances and dlc blades, Zeke is the best option for almost every other weapon type, arguebly including knuckle claws and bitballs if you want healing.

@@MaxMonado zeke is good with the others, but rex is absolutely better in terms of knuckle claws. Fiora's well used blades are a reskin of knuckle claws, and rex absolutely has better animations than zeke. Crossette on zeke is better, and bitball zeke is definitely better.

Judt wanted to say that Fiora's blades are a reskin of the twin rings from the dog blades, not the knuckle claws. (think about how the animations are slices instead of punches)

Finished the game with a few Blades unlocked but did not touch it again. I see XC2 as a one time thing. Game's great, but so are thousand of others.

Also, if you miss the B button prompt that extends the Chain Attack, you will instead use Specials that are lower levelled for that round. For example, if you used level 2 Specials in a round and then missed the button prompt, you would go back to level 1 Specials. If you want to get higher level Specials, you MUST hit that button prompt or you will miss out on damage.

Im just gonna say Morag was pretty easy for me, i had Rex with Roc, Godfrey, and Perceval as the blades that appeared, and i kinda just used Roc and no one else and won all the fights in that part, it was way easier than what i expected from Morag

Currently on chapter 5 and just got her from a random rare core crystal, I recently pulled Percival from a legendary core then got Kos Mos 4 rare cores later😅 Got her with 400 luck, I thought I had pretty good luck when I got Zenobia as my first rare blade, total legendary cores used 4. Just realised I have all rare blades now minus the ones we get from the story, so my total used cores are appropriately 160 common, 40-50 rares and 4 legendary.

I think most people use Shulk/Reyn/Sharla because they each embody the three main archetypes of Offense, Defense, and Support. Once other party members join that don't clearly fit into just one of those roles, players may avoid adding them to their main party because it would disrupt the balance they are familiar with.

I got KOS-MOS on chapter 4 from a common crystal. She was summoned by Nia. You don't know how excited I was but not as excited as mobile gacha games because I knew there was some sort of pity system so eventually I would get everyone. After watching this video, I understood how lucky I was. Good luck on everyone farming for her!

Another thing which makes the grind a lot more bearable: you can just cheat the game by using the aforementioned strategies and then make a cloud save with NSO. If you still don’t get KOS-MOS, just reload the save 😉.

Vale has been my KOS-MOS. I got KOS-MOS very early during my first playthrough and never thought much about it. And after grinding for all the rare blades, Vale is the only one that has eluded me for years. I'm going to try this method, and I know I need to boost my Justice level as much as possible. Is there a way to downgrade my other stats though, so that Justice dominates?

All five blade probability groups can be obtained, it's only the pity blades which were coded incorrectly. Groups 1 and 2 both get the pity blades intended for group 1, group 3 gets the pity blades intended for group 2, etc. Since many of the pity blades had lowered pull rates in the groups they were intended to be pity blades in, this makes pulling every blade a bit harder in 4 of the 5 groups (especially for groups 4 and 5).

😫 Bruh, I got the game when it was just released... and only got KOS-MOS *THIS YEAR.* I am SO going to have to play through XC2 again with KOS-MOS running next to T-ELOS and Elma! The other nerds can get scrubs like Shulk and Fiora, and the Torna Blades. 😛 I appreciate you for sharing this, if there are other unfortunate souls who are still SOL on KOS-MOS to this day.

I got her on my second play I think but the funny things this game was my entry into Xenoblade and I didn’t know who kosmos was and when I got her I was upset that I didn’t get someone else and didn’t use her for the longest I also got telos and they’re both on zeke 😂😂

this "speedrun to kosmos" is misleading dont you think? when it took you a year to get her it was probably because there were other blades in the pool. I may be wrong in thinking that this time she was the only rare blade left, but if I'm correct, then the 2 hours it took to get her isn't indicative of the whole process. great guide tho

I feel like Sharla could have been made much better if she was a healer with more balance between healing and out right attacking. The heat mechanic could have been used so she can't spam either healing or offensive arts (i.e. offensive heats up the rifle, support cools it down). And then you could have made her talent art a means of breaking her limit and she can spam as many arts as she wanted

Its honestly absurd how rare Kos-mos is, I got her on my first playthrough fairly early, when I reached the Leftherian Archipelago, and had no idea she was that rare! Future playthroughs of that game are definetly gonna be NG+ runs, im NOT pulling all those rare blades again from a damn gacha a second time, especially with how absurdly rare Kos-Mos is.
