The velcro patch spots were something different that we wanted to try. So far, we have enjoyed them. They have a reinforced elbow which is great for prone shooting.

Great observation! It might look a bit unusual at first, but Pat is actually left-handed, and his rifle is specifically built for left-handed shooters. The bolt is on the left side so he can cycle it efficiently without breaking his firing position. Left-handed actions are less common, so we totally get the confusion-thanks for pointing it out!

@@wyomingguncompany3327 It's a touchy subject (especially for optics sponsors) but a recent interest of mine is zero retention / POI shift. I'm overhauling my hunting rifle/scope due to a 0.3 MIL zero shift during travel to that antelope hunt this past fall. It really damaged my confidence in my setup on the hunt even after I re-zeroed. Specifically Rokslide's drop testing and long-term travel testing scopes. Also procedures to maximize zero retention such as bedding the stock, using epoxy/loctite on scope base (if not integral), and loctiting / paint penning scope rings. The chassis/stock bedding is even catching on with PRS guys. If you look at the PRB survey, more and more of the top guys are bedding their chassis. The owner of MPA has talked about how it helps with preventing POI shift from side impacts to the barrel. Anyway that's a long ass train of thought but that's my recent obsession and something I think a lot more hunters should think about.

Leofoto 362cx Sig kilo 10k gen 1 Stuck on a bipod as I'm close to the 16lbs as is. Getting a tac table for the tripod to set a bag on. Havent practiced much bit i like the setup. May flute the barrel or get a new contoured barrel 😬 Anything you see i need to change or add?

@@806Guns This is Pat from the video. That sounds like a lot of fun. I know there are a lot of guys that are saying the 7mm SAW had quite a bit less recoil than a .308. Ive never shot one so let us know how you like it!

@@806Gunssounds like a great build. Staying under the weight can be tough. Bipod choice is something I’m digging through now too. I love my MDT but they are a lot of options and a little taller would be nice, like a triple pull but I don’t think I’d be under the weight.
