please tell me, does famistudio do everything famitracker do? i never got into famitracker cause it looks to complicated, being from top down and etc, never figured it out, at least how to do more complex stuff nes games did, I just want a program that is exactly like famitracker but combined with fl studio with normal piano roll, yours seems to be just that, is it?

@@JonelKingas Pretty much. FT has a couple niche features FS doesn't such as over clocking. But FS makes up for it by having NSF import, midi import/export, video export, vgm import/export, a mobile app, etc.

Can anyone tell me if this would be the best option for making music specifically for NESmaker on a Mac?

I can't speak for NES maker, I have no idea what format they use. But I think this is the best option for a Mac user. It runs natively on x86 and ARM, supports retina display, etc. Other apps are likely going to require wine or some form of emulation and your mileage may vary.

Hi I have a question, is it possible to import DPCM sample's, in High Quality?. It's just that I'm doing some covers with Sonic's Snare Drum, from How2Bboss, but they're in a low quality, I've tried importing WAV audio files, and Famistudio supports them, but when Famistudio plays them, a noise sounds. Also, I don't know if there are pages to create DPCM Sample's, I searched, but I couldn't find any. It is possible that you will make an update where Famistudio supports Sample's in High Quality or WAV files without errors happening to me (I use Famistudio for Android).

Hey guys, Famistudio is great but it only renders with CPU 😭😭. It's fine on my desktop where I have a 11700KF but on my i5 4th gen laptop it can take up to hours, will you ever support GPU rendering?

The whole app is OpenGL. Check your driver's

@@famistudio that was fast... My drivers are fine on both devices although it renders oscilloscope videos with CPU, and I mean CPU, not integrated graphics (which my desktop doesn't even have) I even set the GPU preference in the Nvidia control panel

hey, uhh, i kinda just wanted to maybe randomly suggest something for whatever update (seeing as i don't have discord and cant find other places to put this) (this is more mobile focused btw) when you are using the fx editor, i kinda wish there were some plus and minus buttons on the screen that allowed you to move the currently selected fx column up or down slowly (like a fine tuner in a sense) this isnt really a major issue, its more of an issue with pitch fx but _mainly_ FDS speed fx, since if your trying to use it for FM-like stuff, unless you want to make several slightly tweaked copies of the same instrument, the only other way is by manually, and carefully puting the right FDS speed, and on mobile, that's next to impossible -you obviously dont have to do this btw, its just a suggestion-

There is going to be small improvements on that front in 4.2.0 but probably not what you hope for. FX with very large values (ex: FDS mod speed) will now be logarithmic, so it will be easier to enter small values. Also, you'll be able to type in the value with the keyboard, in case you aren't able to choose a specific value.

I have a question, is Famistudio 32 bit or 64 bit? I'm having the windows installer one, i downloaded vc_redist_x64 and famistudio was glitching, flickering, freezing and sometime it's not saving my progress and crashes to me, i have a 64 bit pc

Just installed this not too long ago, though I got a question to ask, when I looked at the tutorial I saw you had some extra options on the top Taskbar (undo, redo, etc.), how do I put those on there

On desktop, those are only shown if the window is large enough (1450 pixels or more). This probably mean you are using a very low resolution display, or running with a large scaling (which can be changed in the options).
