It keeps getting better! Love the follow mode. Perhaps we can get a note name labels on piano roll? :) Also, when you rewind it doesn't reset the view in the clip window and piano roll. I know these are nitpicks, but holy crap FamiStudio is amazing :D

@@famistudio The labels? In FamiStudio you hover the mouse it shows F#3 for example. Some DAWs support showing the note name directly on the piano roll notes itself. This way seems easier than constantly looking in the lower right. Also hitting rewind doesn't reset view. If i'm looking at bar 20 and hit rewind, the player goes to the beginning. But I am still looking at bar 20. Thanks for listening to feedback, cheers!

I had request for flatpak as well. The Linux community is very small at the moment (the download numbers are very low), so id rather invest my energy elsewhere at the moment until the community grows up a bit. I am not aware of a single song made with the Linux version at the moment! 😂 I hope you understand, i need to pick my battles.

Unfortunately this is not on my roadmap for the time being. This is a lot more complicated that you think. I'm hopeful that one day someone will make a tool that converts MIDI to FamiStudio text format. That's probably you best hope!

No unfortunately. It wouldnt be as straighforward as one may think. Converting midi ticks to a tempo that makes sense on the NES would be tricky. Also, i wouldnt know how to map what to which NES channel.

@@reddishguyinactive4387 Not right now. The ROM export doesn't support expansion chips at the moment. The FDS export support... well, the FDS! :) It would be doable to support playing expansion chips but I dont have the hardware to do that here. I dont even know what I would need to accomplish this!
