In the Shield the Netflix button is number 12. Any thoughts on how to keep the permissions on when using the buttons? After one use the Netflix button triggers again.

Check permissions tab in settings for tvquickactions.. mine is ALLOW files and media. They also have a telegram help channel to sort issues certain users are having.

i am also not able to open system picker. it says "you don't have an app for that" . Unfortunately there seems to be no solution for that. I end up recording on my device storage and move to external hard drive manually.

@@ambarishranade I went with Formula android box it is a little pricey but to me it is well worth it, great remote plus it has its own Guide which you don't need Tivimate.

New to this whole thing so ty so much for the video. Is it still correct that the only way to share screen is through your pc? Is it possible to share the apps that seem to come with bigscreen such as disney plus and prime? Seems strange that there should have to be that extra step. Regardless this is a really wonderful and informative video. So ty again.

You still need to use a pc to basically be the host of whatever service you want to stream.

What file manager do I need in order to get that screen where you don't see the highlighted option move but you here it? I have an airmouse I can use to select the area I need

Thanks for your video. Can you advise how to "kick" or mute someone from a room that you've hosted? I hosted one recently and a few kids came in and were interupting the video. I'm relatively new to BigScreen and haven't figured it out yet. Thanks.

You simply click on room and you will see a list of people in the room. You can mute or kick people from that menu. Once you kick a person, they can't return until you recreate a room. We use that often. Also if you want to limit kids. Set the room to NSFW.

What if i want to have the screen always move with the movement of my head? Example: I start watching a movie and decide to lie down on the cauch. In that case the movie has to be shown on the seiling, not where the movie was. What if i want to get something to drink go to the toilet but keep on watching the movie? (i know what people are going to say now. "How unhygienic!". IT'S AN EXAPLE !!!). The serouning has to be passthrough to see where you walk but the bigscreen must go with your movement. So i want to make the room turn off but the screen has to move with the movement of my head, even if i lie down. Just the bigscreen, noting else floting in the air.

If you use a default screen (tv or movie theater) location your can turn your head or walk or lay down with no issues. If you create a second screen location it moves with your head

@@DaButcher No it does not. The screen always stays in a fixed position. So if i turn my head to the right the screen moves to the left and if i look up the screen moves down, as a normal tv also does. Passtruegh lets Bigscreen disapear completely. It does not let the screen stay. I want to see only the screen (and the program window) without the envirement (like a theatre) and move the screen with my movement. That should not be so difficult?

Hi, I can record to my external drive, but it buffers every 15-20 seconds (no buffering when not recording). The USB write speed is 400 mps - is that fast enough? what are the minimum external drive parameters for recording iptv? Cheers.

That is what kiodiekin was saying. With a windows pc (x86) can run most games with little tweaks. Arm chip ( android or pi ) it needs to be tweaked in emu settings to work right

Turn off distractions.. it won't delete it but you won't be able to see it

No, I didn't know there was a ps2 emulator to run on shield. I will look into it

@@DaButcher Well here is the bad news. The developer was harassed over year ago and put a halt to development. It's insane how good AetherSX2 runs ps2 for android still. The shield does its best, if you have a phone with a better processor WAY better results.

@@DaButcher I would highly suggest using the Aurora Store off F-Droid's site to spoof the play store into thinking the shield is another device. That way you can have the full google play store on android tv. If running AetherSX2 on the shield when you first run it choose ''unsafe'', it will tweak settings to run games better on old hardware.
