Motul 300v is a race oil, its not for every day riding, the additive package is totaly different from a street bike oil... go with the 7100... if you think you doing good with Motul 300v and 6000k miles oil change interval you do more bad to your engine then you think... its for race use with short intervals.. yes it performs outstandig but only for a shorter period its not for long term use or every day riding.....

@@ramiretz Thanks, either way, I would not ever go 6000 miles between oil changes on a high performance high revving engine. It would be 2500 to 3000 miles max for me. 10w 40 or 10w 50, which would you go with? That model can take either weight of oil.

@lateralus9244 10w40 covers everything for those engines 😊 3000miles is a very good interval for oils in bike engines with share it with the gearbox. In my 28yeara as bike mechanic i can tell you that most synthetic oils start to degrade their viscosity at 3000miles mineral based a bit shorter about 2000miles. The gearboxes sheer down the viscosity improvers over time faster then in a car engine.... So u are doing perfectly good with changing at 3000miles 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

This oil is for racing only! 300v does not last long. The Motul 7100 is made for longer use, this is what I would use.

@@mercow1242 7100 shouldnt go bad after 3500 kms, maybe you purchased fake counterfeit motul. I run both 300v on my race bike and 7100 on my bmw GS. On the GS I change the oil after every 3000km regardless of oil brand. I have tried running bmw oil once for 8,000km and can feel the difference versus fresh oil. To me oil is cheaper then an engine replacement. I have run castrol oil on my older gsxr, and that blew a oil seal. So to each is own, whatever works for you.

Then i wonder why no problems have been reported with it? I’ve seen no independent testing to show that it has chlorine in it.

It will work great on your bike. Even motul 7100 10w 50 will do wonders. 300v is for the high compression engine. it works great with ktm engines. But Kawasaki has a refined engine and 7100 is good for it. 7100 is also used on tracks. 👍 Don't use 300v. t Try 7100 first.
