The episode was "Hocus Pocus and Fisby"; where two aliens drive one into a fuel station run by a braggart storyteller, played by Andy Devine, and proceed to kidnap him. Another Caravelle appeared in a recent TV advert for a drug company (that I don't recall).

Somehow i don't feel very bad about some of these 304's being demolished. They were not very good cars. They rusted badly and had lots of problems with blown headgaskets. The succesor model 305 was much better.
