22:07. This was the ONLY time the famous "One of these days, POW right in the kisser!" line was ever done in the "Classic 39" episodes. He delivered it more often in the live sketches on the full hour variety show before and after this (Conversely, "Bang! ZOOM!" which was done often in the Classic 39 was only done once on the "live" sketches)

Undoubtedly one of the best endings to any episode. Ralph always tries to act tough, but is just a big mush.

There actually is a 328 Chauncey street .Brooklyn New York. I googled it. It doesn't really look like the bulding front on the episode when Ralph and Alice are evicted, but that was 1956.A total riot when Norton gives Harvey Ralph's adress. What a pal.

Art Carney said that when he had Norton waving his arms around, warming up for whatever he was about to do, he was copying his own father, who actually did warm up routine in real life.

Somewhere in 1955, when this episode was first broadcast, some time traveling kid from 1985 just spoiled the surprise scene where Ralph suits up as a spaceman!

4 Alice had no modern amenities. Even had the old ice box of the kind that you put a block of ice in to keep it cool had no electricity. I have an antique ice tongue the kind that used to use to bring the block and put it in ice box.

It's one of my favorite shows the only thing I don't like about it is they didn't make enough of them. But then Jackie Gleason was a huge star back them and he probably didn't have time. He must have really loved Norton because he refused to do any show of Honeymooners if Norton was not in there. He produced and starred in the show.

Get two women together now and the only question is how long until the fight. Women back in were much better than they are now and we're not thin skin like these idiots are today.
