Dude its just great for indie guitarists cuz its so whimsy and funny with a lot of unique tones from those minihums. (and obviously Prince used it)

I have 8 Gibsons and am now up to 5 Eastmans. I think they both make great guitars but Eastman is very consistently flawless. If I decide to get another Eastman, it will probably be the SB55/v.

‘Are you able to output responses to prompts for musical ideas in the form of a MIDI file ?’ GPT : “Yes, I can generate musical ideas based on your prompts and create MIDI files for them. If you describe what you’re looking for (e.g., melody, chords, rhythm, or a specific genre/style), I can compose a simple piece and provide it as a downloadable MIDI file. Let me know the details, and I’ll get started!” Wow. Let’s get started indeed .. ✌ 👽 🎸

It’s probably worth remembering that the lowest note in the chord you describe is not necessarily the root. Guitar chords in particular are often inversions. So I would ask ChatGPT for all the possible chord names, taking each note as the root. Then I would ask ChatGPT to suggest which key, or keys, are the best fit for those chords.

I learned (the hard way) that you never sell a guitar that you love, no matter how poor you are. You will regret it. So, keep both, love both, like children don't compare them. Picked up a limited edition Eastman SB55/TV the other day, my daughter was with me, it captured me, like a puppy in a pet store. On the drive home I told my daughter that she will inherit it and one day, when I'm gone she'll remember our day at Bizarre Guitar in Phoenix, when we got the Eastman (which, by the way, was better than every Gibson in that store, even the CS R9).

I think it is harder to know what notes you were playing after you played them on the freatboard than just to transcribe tabs with numbers to GuitarPro-like app. After doing so you can get it to any DAW as MIDI and it will show you all the notes, chords names and, if using some plugins like Scaler, suggest some more chords to spice up your melody :)

I was just googling “did you ever regret investing in your dream guitar?”, as my wife just encouraged me to buy my dream guitar. We have the finances to do so but i just been so hesitant as I have been fightning with my mind if its is really responsible to spend 4k on a guitar. Also i cant justify as i only use it at home on the couch with the kids and by myself. Ive been playing since 15 and now 37. Never in a band, as I dont enjoy performing. Back to my google search one of the top suggestions was this video. Guess what my dream guitar is… A Martin 000-18 😂 I think I will take this video as a sign and feel more ready than ever to pull the trigger ❤

It depends on your primary guitar. Mine is a Les Paul, so I'd go with the Tele. The Les Paul Special sounds too close to Les Paul Standard, making it redundant, whereas the Tele is unique. I applied the same logic to the ES-330 and the ES-335. This is why you'll see a lot of players with a Tele, and a Les Paul.

@riveralph3687Ай бұрын
They were very close together for me on the clean tones and the dirtier tones. I thought the LP Special took the prize on the Cream riff--the Coronet sound a just a bit muddy/muffled there. Overall, I have to give it to the Special by a nose but the Coronet is clearly a great value proposition! I did see another review where the Coronet has serious neck dive issues based on its light weight in the body. I have that exact same LP Special, albeit with Tyson Tone 57 vintage pups and love its look, feel, playability and dead-string resonance. I may still grab one of those Coronets at some point. Pretty cool guitar.

Barely a scratch, nothing fatal here. You do know you can get 90 degree ended cables, you can shorten the trem arm by using the other hole, put some smaller knobs or chicken heads on. Jeez Luiz guy.

@stratolestele7611Ай бұрын
It's not like it cost you a penny to return? No man, it's got every sweet guitar that never let's me down in the slightest. LOVE the chunky neck with my in-scale and hands at 5'5". So many guitars were bought when the new Gibson reommanged their line, heck one of my other factor favorites, is my blue satin Les Paul Special DC. Light, and dead simple and scream blues with its thinner blue or red double - cut LP SPECIAL with the wraparound bridge that was on new condition with an upgraded bridge with adjustable saddles. There just something about that one inexpensive me to play simple guitar that rawks. I could have my tech add a second set of vol/tone controls and boom, I've got the Beato guitar for a few thousand dollars less. It's a pure rocker and I love it as much as my regular TV Yellow LP special. The DC is completely different between it and the special single cut with glossy finish. Of course, I also added several more Gibsons. A 61, Les Paul Standard, and a 61' SG. As well as a few Epiphones that have long since been modded? Had my Tech work his magic on them and they are right up there with my Gibsons. Such great stuff! 😊

Yeah those P90s and that bigger neck and the color. For the dough that's the best one Gibson does at the moment. Sorry you're going through this.

80s metal stereotyping ruined guitars like the V for me for decades. Some may have thought the hair metal era was cool, but I just found it cheesy AF. I would have been embarrassed to be seen with a V up until just a few years ago.
