I think if you aim more towards the nose you do get better pop tho. Like if you can get one straight off the top left or right corner depending on if you’re goofy or regular, they get max pop.

I like a steep nose, medium concave and kind of a chill tapered tail with about 2 fingers of flat behind the back bolts. The older i get the more i appreciate having a less steep tail. Doesnt take as much effort to snap

Ive been skating on and off for the past 20 yrs or so and kickflips have ALWAYS been harder for me. Heelflips were the first trick I learned cus they're so easy.
